I like Chris Paul, but you can't go wrong with Kobe or Lebron either.

In all honesty, he should be considered in the discussion. What he's doing is ridiculous yet AGAIN.

He should be. Just don't mention Baron Davis at all or you'll get jumped on for it.

Lebron is a beast so is CP3 and kobe

But i cannot understand how people are discrediting CP3.the west is absolutely loaded.

I am tired of hearing that lebron has no help at all.
Ilguaskas is one of the best pure centers in the NBA. He has great skills for a big man and a very nice touch around the rim.
Hughes is a great defender and combo guard i agree that injuries set him back, but he is still a great scorer.
Drew Gooden is a good rebounder and post up scorer.
its not their fault that the cavs offense is stand around and let lebron dominate.
these players are not exactly hall of famers but they aint no scrubs either, so stop this lebron has no help nonsense

I know most of these players have been traded now but this is the cast that lebron had this season.

I am tired of people discredeting some players on a team so a certain player can look better

Ilguaskas is not very good anymore. Nowhere near one of the best centers in the NBA. Hughes and LeBron never meshed well together. Hughes is a very good defender but his offense in Cleveland wasn't very good. Gooden is a pretty good player, above average, but he's really nothing special.

I don't think by any stretch of the imagination you can say that LeBron had a good team around him.

              BINGO.

That team has zero philosophy or strategy on Offense. It's let Lebron dominante, or dribble penetrate, suck in the D and find open shooters.

                Re: MVP discussion

As stupid as this sounds, the MVP usually goes to the best player on a top tier team according to team wins. How else would Dirk have won last year.
Thats why I don't think Lebron wins it this year. He plays on a mediocre team in a mediocre conference. The last couple of years Kobe lead a mediocre team to the playoffs in a strong Western Conference, he didn't win. Twice he didn't win.
We still have basically half a season left, so everthing could change. What makes his season better? The Cavs have the fifth best record in the East. He is having one the best seasons ever, but so did Kobe a couple of years ago. He didn't win.
So unless the criteria has changed or the voters, he aint gonna win.
                1. CP3
                2. Kobe
                3. Lebron
                4. KG

But as you can see he is third, because he is having such a unbelieveable season.

You're right he didn't deserve it, because he played on a mediocre team. Using that same logic is why I believe Lebron won't win it.

Lebron is balling out of control but his overall record does not equate MVP for this season... winning means more than individual performances.

no cause he wasnt the most valuable thats why, not cause of your logic. I believe at this point Lebron is the most valuable player look at his team with out him and look at them with him on their its a complete 180

No No. They are a mediocre team with him and a lottery team without him. You don't win a MVP leading a mediocre team. PERIOD

You do win an mvp if the mediocre team can win games like the games that the cavs have won

they beat boston twice once at their house
                            they beaten the lakers twice
                            they beaten the spurs
                            they beaten dallas and utah

thats 5 of the top teams in the nba and lebron beat them with a mediocre which just speaks towards the ability that lebron has

True. The MVP has to be Chris Paul right now. He's just it right now.
