    Re: MVP discussion

KG's strained abdomen has really pushed him back as far as being the front runner in the mvp race. He looked pretty hurt last night, despite 15 points and 17 boards, though.

Right now I would give it to LeBron. Hands down. He's turned me over from the Kobe side.

      Re: MVP discussion

      It "has" to be Kobe.

Lebron is essentially doing what Kobe did the last 2 years; he has great stats but the team is mediocre.

If Kobe finishes with the #1 record in the West while being the #2 scorer in the league with 5+ Assists and 6+ rebounds with his center missing half the season, it'd be hypocritical to not give it to him.

Lebron should win the MVP, but Kobe should have won the MVP the last 2 years.

        Chris Paul or Lebron.

You just answered your question. The fact that the Cavs are sniffing around playoff contention with the garbage that surrounds Lebron should automatically give the guy the award. Look at how many times he's bailed them out with jaw dropping 4th quarter performances.

IMO it's a toss up between Kobe and Lebron.

How you guys can dismiss Chris Paul is beyond me. Coming in here with all of that kobe is da best crap is NEVER criteria for winning the MVP, and I'd suffice to say you can attribute the Lakers success to more than just Kobe, and if you dimiss the bench and the play of guys like Bynum and Farmar, Fisher then you're completely dishonest.

If the Cavs win 50 games give LeBron strong consideration because truth be told individually he's better than any swingman out there.

Chris Paul is leading the freaking New Orleans Hornets to the best record in the West. You're just being a homer if you ignore that.

Hornets finish in the top 3 IMO its not even close. CP3 needs that award.

If anyone had told you the Hornets would be tops in the most brutal West in years, would you have believed it?

There's three guys and either one you can't go wrong. I have a feeling it'll be Bryant because his team will have the most wins out of CP3 or Bron. What all three are doing right now.. just filthy.

IMO whoever doesn't even mention one of the three [Kobe, CP3, Bron] doesn't watch enough games, or has some sort of bias. Plain foolishness not to mention those three.

Like I said; CP3 SHOULD win the MVP award if it was given out today. But this is the first year he has KILLED. So he WOULD NOT get it. You know with awards in pro sports it is about "turns." - CP3 will have MANY "turns"

So with that said; I go with Big Kobe
