    Chris Paul
    Kobe
    LeBron...

Dwight Howard and Baron Davis maybe? There's some distance between the first three and all the other candidates though.

You are trippin. But I really don't like to compare players @ different positions. So I will say that Mo Pete is better than all of the non-LeBroned Cavalier perimeter players.

lol@ Chris Paul not being considered because he's tearing it up this year for the first time.

With no Pau, with no Duncan, with no KG he's leading his team to the West #1 seed!

LeBron is having a better season than Kobe Bryant, but unless his team wins 50 games he won't get it.

You don't think voters use that logic when choosing award winners? Don't act like this is something new.

I said he has PLAYED like the MVP; but the same way Gilbert discredited Calderon from being All Star Material because he JUST started playing THIS way, the SAME can and WILL be said about CP3.

Right now, yes CP3 should get the nod, but there's still a lot of season left. There's three guys with a good shot to get it.

                    Re: MVP discussion

You can post STATS (which don't even say ANYTHING; a PG should lead them in assists; which is the only glaring difference) but GSW fans would even tell you that Steve Jack is probably the most important Warrior of THIS season. Just look how well they have played SINCE he has been back after missing those first games.

Last time I heard SINCE then; there record WITH Jack is the best of any team SINCE that point of the season.

And the way Monta has been playing; come on now Baron isn't and shouldn't be even discussed in this post.

Here's a homer pick and he's not going to win it but he could possibly win it if he has a full year doing what he's doing lately but look at Chris Bosh over the last month and a half. The man is absolutely filling up the stat sheets.
