Get rid of charging/blocking fouls, or give technicals to flops.

T_Magic, that Raja video against Kobe is not a flop, and has been proven as such.

I think we can all agree that alot of rules should be changed. If it wasn't for all the talent and exciting players in todays game, I wouldn't watch cause of the number of BS rules/flopping that goes on.

Now, from what you posted I can see that some contact was made to Bell's face. It didn't look that bad from the video.

But...The fact still remains...He still FLOPPED...You can not tell me that Kobe is that strong, the elbow made full on contact, and that Kobe applied that much force that he was able to completely level Raja Bell with that elbow.

Have you ever played any pick up game or organized ball where you've seen somebody go down like that because of a small elbow? I know that I haven't.

So yes, he may have made contact with Raja's face. But, he still FLOPPED. I don't see how you could deny that.

I fail to see why a play should be called a block when the defender is in position for the charge but just happens to have his heel on the restricted circle. It's just dumb to me.

I kinda get what your saying...

It's just that players already flop so damn much it's getting rediculous. I don't think charges should be called when someone is standing under the basket.

You have a player who gets by his man, has a lane to the basket and attacks the rim. Without the circle, we'd see players just standing under the rim waiting to take the charge. I don't think that such a lame play should be rewarded.

Offensive fouls should only be called when the offensive man does something that risks injury to the defender or in some way, or interferes in the defenders ability to play defense.
