Campbell is still better, and could do more than Samaki Walker. Karl Malone hit Nicks arm in a possible game ,and series winning shot. kobe took way more horrible shots in those years too, so don't bash Nick, at least he did help the team. I'd still take him over Fisher.

Sure they have, but the issues arriving now wouldn't even be the case. You now have Samaki Walker, and Derek Fisher, and Devon George opposed to those other 3.

        <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

What more do you want??? if 3 straight championships and possibly 4 isnt enough, what is?. It's easy for you to think that they should have kept all those good players... but even if they had(which they couldnt) would the three straight championships look any better?

Its all about results and the lakers have been perfect for 3 straight years but yet you still nitpick. It's not how you do it that matters, its what you do. Some people will just never be satisfied

I don't want anything. I just liked that team, rings or no rings, I just think they were a stronger and more exciting team to see. Just my opinion though.

Ok, I'll say this again. The Lakers couldnt afford to keep them all! So there is NO WAY that Nick or Elden would still be on this team.. And yes Elden is way better than Samaki....but he didnt play like it when he was on the same team as Shaq.

Actually Kobe didnt play much the year, the Lakers lost too the Jazz. He did shoot those airballs in one game but he didnt play much that series.

who says they need to follow last year's outcome... if that were the case... WASHINGTON back in 46-47 would have won every championship unto 2002-2003 and beyond, b/c they won the championship that year... didn't mean they were going to do it again!

I say it's between these teams as to who will take it all this year:

                                Los Angeles Lakers
                                San Antonio Spurs
                                Sacramento Kings
