I give you Fisher, I would still have kept Van Exel any day. I just don't see the Lakers being as tough anymore. They don't have a lock on anyone anymore.

Kobe cant carry the lakers yet. He needs few more years to do that. Shaq is the only team carrier for the lakers. But Shaq wont last as the dominate player in the nba. 2 words

Destroyed what was a great team in the works. I just don't see the reasons justified. At the time Eddie Jones was their best defensive player, and could've been pretty fabulous by now under Phil.

i don't know, it looks like the move worked out OK for the Lakers. haven't they done pretty well the last three years?
