This is very interesting. Not sure how it works out for both teams though. IMO, both teams aren't necessarily taking a step-back but it doesn't look like a total step-forward either.

      We'll see.

        Interesting move, nonetheless.

And did somebody just say that we'll be seeing the 2001 Iverson on THIS team? LOL
AI is NOT coming off the bench, you dont know basketball if you really think that........

If anyone will be a sixth man it will be Rip. Stuckey would get put in a starting role.

This is a good deal for Denver because Billups will space out the floor with his perimeter shooting and accept his role as a second banana on the Nuggets.
From a team perspective, this deal works.
That said, Denver should became a whole lot duller to watch.

Don't know if it quoted the right message(quoting rockchisler) but it wouldn't really be farfetched as you're making it sound.

Somebody mentioned it earlier, if he's willing to put his ego aside to win a championship, would it be a shocker if he did that?

All we can do right now is speculate because we don't know what type of role he'll have, considering the fact that he's not really a "pass first" pg per se.
