I'd Draft Darko...

okay there is a few reasons
1. LeBron is the most hyped up player ever there has to be a reason for that
2. Because he is so hyped up LeBron can make your franchise millions of dollars (tickets, jerseys etc.....) yes wade can do this but not on the same level
3. LeBron just has so much potenial he is a great athlete
he was offered scholiarships to miami and ohio state....
now ur saying so what of course he was
well they were for football

Everyone`s a GM and a Scout and an Assistant coach.

Everyone who said they`d take Darko besides the UT fan HAS NOT SEEN HIM PLAY. Period!

They all saw the same 5-minute ESPN piece about Darko and his family with about 45 seconds of game highlights. Gosh, they`re great talent evaluators.

LeBron is the consensus #1 draft pick (and NO, I do not like LeBron and will NOT like him until i see him play against stiffer competition). People are talking about draft boards a tad too early IMO. I didn`t know they gained access to the NBA war rooms.

I`ll wait until the workouts and Invitationals to see how Darko does although he`ll probably only give private workouts to certain teams AFTER THE DRAFT ORDER IS DETERMINED (hint hint).

Until then, all the virtual GMs can battle back and forth with each other.

You know that argument can be said for just about any hyped up name from college or in this case HS. Most times they work out well and the team makes money and all that jazz.

Then you end up with Busts. It's a huge risk. I mean Michael Jordan wasn't even the first pick in the draft and all the players that were drafted ahead of him had OK careers but didn't light the world on fire.

if u think darko is thats ur's i respect that maybe ur rite maybe i'm rite who knows who cares
but my point is that lebron will be that number one pick no matter what happens because of the money he will bring in
he's beig built up as the next jordan (i don't think he is) but thats what the media is doing so people are thinking i wanna go see the next jordan play
and most people don't even know who darko is
so remember i know darkos a good player so is lebron but in the end u draft the guy that can bring in the money lebron period

<hr /></blockquote>Well I have been following Dwyane since he was a senior in High School and he was always so underated, I have no idea why, he always put up good numbers against his compition. I think the fact that he had the best game of his career against Kentucky, a College Basketball power, will make his stock rise, but Im not saying he will be a number one pick, he is just MY first pick, Dwyane has worked his *** off to get where he is and I think he will continue to do that in the NBA...
