The east coasters, or even Arizona scouts, dont even know who the [censored] he is.

They think of him now, as a cocky "too good for your camp" ball player.

I hope he can prove some of the east coast scouts wrong.

Yeah me too. I was pretty impressed when I saw him on ESPN. I hope he makes it.

this is a pointless argument

you can say i'd draft camerlo first but no one will even if he wins the national champ i will admit that of course carmelo will have a better first year then evryone will say should have drafted him but lebrons time will come so much athleic poteial so much evrything when that guy gets comfortable look out

Too much to bank on the what if stuff. I would go with proving talent and thats Carmelo.

I definately would draft Lebron #1. I haven't seen enough of Darko so I'll pass on him. Carmelo Anthony will be a good NBA player, but I don't see him being that much better than a Glenn Robinson, Lamar Odom, Elton Brand, or Donyell Marshall. Anthony will probaly be a 20PPG 10RPG player but I can see Lebron James AVERAGING a triple double. 25PPG 10 RPG 10 APG numbers. This guy will be great IF he ends up in the right enviroment such as Miami, Toronto, perhaps Denver. If he goes to a team like Cleveland or the Clippers, than he won't be as good.

Okay how many people can honestly tell me that if they had the number one pick in the lotteryu won't pick lebron

If I had the #1 pick I would either draft Melo or hold the NBA hostage and rip someone off in a trade. Seriously James will be good but he aint gonna be the 2nd coming of something. And u know whos to blame people who think he is a god. He is never going to live up to the hype. Sorry but no matter what he does people are not going to be satisified.
