I have played 5 games with those sliders..

- Beat the Cavs by 5.
- Lost to the Lakers by 12.
- Beat the Timberwolves by 19. ( Is it me, or KG doesn't get the ball much in this game? )
- Beat the Clippers by 7.
- Beat the Rockets by 5.

field goal %'s were around 47-52%

The thing that make this game so easy is how they miss so many free throws, the clippers shot like freaking 12-28 from the line..

well, the search for the perfect sliders is endless. you just have to keep tweaking. im always tryign to make the game harder while keeping it realistic and that involves soem changes. i understand that you dont want to keep messing with them, no one does, but that is just how it is. sorry.

NINJA I wanted to know the difference between AI DUNK/ LAYUPS, AND DUNK LAYUP VS. SHOT TENDENCY??? OK I UNDERSTAND THAT THE DUNK LAYUP VS. ok, dunk % is how often you will actually make the dunk - how much you will miss. Dunk rating affects what kinds of dunks the players can do and who can dunk. for example, i suspect if you raised it all the way up, you would see many more 360 dunks and stockton would be able to dunk.
dunk/layup vs. shot - i think that the higher this is, the more you try to dunk in traffic, it wont work, and you will put up a jumper. if you lower it all the way, you will see shaq jumping from the free thow line dunking over people.
AI dunk/layup - this affects how much the cpu will drive to the basket.

Hey Ninja I was wondering if it makes a difference whether or not I play with 10 minute quarters and on fast. Im used to playing on normal and I dont want to play for 10 minutes. If I leave those the same will the gameplay still stay realistic? Or not because you can do less in the given amount of time with a slower setting?

Also, when used in conjunction with that dudes roster updates (making guys post d low and stuff) will this make it very FUN and REALISTIC?

just gimme some input and put up some updated sliders. thanks man ur doin great

well i dont think changing the speed will affect the gameplay much. but, changing the quarter length will. if you have less time, you wont get as many shots, poitns FTs etc...
i am not using the edited players thing. im playing with the latest sega update with no edits to players.
as of now, the sliders are the same as what i last posted.
i will be working on them more, tomorow and will post an update.

i just finished a game with your sliders and antigravity's settings. I used 7 min quarters though, got a final of 71 to 60 celtics over 6ers. I was Boston. Pierce had 24 points, 4 assists, 3 rebs. I shot 54% they shot 40%. I shot 5 or 8 ft's they shot 9 or 17. pretty realistic stats....i will get better ones once i move up to 10 min quarters.

Well im new to this forum and to be honest i came to look for realistic sliders.
Ninja after using your sliders i came to the conclusion that yours was the best one ive seen so far.
Ive played 2 games so far and both of them were realistic stats wise. In my first game against the hawks i won 98-92
I shot 51% while the hawks shot 41%
In my second game against the heat i won a close one 92-89
This time the shooting was lower i shot 44% while the heat shot 38%. By the way i play with 12 min qtrs.
The only problem i found were the steals were too high i had 13 steals in my first and 11 in the second game. and also the cpu 3pt shooting were terrible, the Hawks shot 1-12 and the heat shot 0-10.
All in all im pretty happy with your sliders.

your sliders are ok

i played last night with your sliders and they were okay, i still score at will and get to the basket when i want to.

i really believe playing at the pro level is the best option for this game.
