Over a year faster than Kobe! It's totally crazy... especially considering that they both came directly out of high school at basically the same age. Obviously LeBron was handed the keys a bit earlier in his career than Kobe was, but still.. wow.

Some of you guys crack me up by continuing to criticize BSPN. It's dead. Been dead for several years. Give it up, there's no hope.

You really think ESPN isn't impressed with Lebron? He doesn't get enough credit or attention? Come on, man.

There is a real issue, and you touched on it earlier in your post. ESPN focuses on manufactured drama rather than real sports reporting. Let's keep it focused on that, rather than this idea that Lebron doesn't get enough love. That's really just more Lebron vs. Kobe stuff, when really there is no Lebron vs. Kobe unless(or until) they meet in the Finals.

Like you said, there is no drama there because Lebron isn't focused on records, and these two guys are really fond of each other. So they manufacture drama as they always do. Interpreting it as them ignoring Lebron is on the wrong side of ridiculous though.

Lebron was also a much, much more impressive physical specimen than Kobe out of HS. His game is still growing into his body.

Who said Bron doesn't get enough love? Im talking about them once again going on with more drama and not reporting the news itself.

It also cracks me up how people suck up to the crap they put out. I wish they would've went on about Gil's 60/8/8 at Staples that time but of course it wasn't as good because he was in LA

I love their front page poll yesterday and today.

Kobe goes nuts at MSG and ESPN starts up the whole, MJ, LBJ and Kobe debate.

I was addressing the implication(or statement) that ESPN is not impressed with Lebron James.

Yeah, it just puts everything into perspective... like, this guy can break almost every scoring record if he keeps up this pace and plays for 15 years. If he gets better as he reaches his prime (which he will) or ends up on a fast-paced team (same with CP3), it's flat-out over stats-wise... those guys will shatter records.

It's definitely going to be something to see, man. Keep an eye on Howard for rebound and blocks records as well.

What makes you question if ESPN is impressed by LBJ then?

Also, was it ESPN who created MSG's mystique? If you're really comparing Staples Center, and the L.A. crowd to MSG and their fans, I don't know what to tell you. Two different stages, which ESPN had nothing to do with.

Why even bring it up or act surprised. The horse is dead people. Stop giving them credence by bringing them up in discussions.

Yeah, can't put all the blame on ESPN. I remember when Gordon hit the gamer win against the Knicks a couple year back at MGS while having a monster game, the media went nuts with Gordon like Jordon at MSG.

Smush Parker could back today, drop 50 at MSG and the media will go nuts.

I'm just saying. The whole Kobe/LBJ/MJ thing needs to stop until at least Kobe's and Lebron's careers are over. And not who can go nuts on a bad Knicks team at MSG.

No I agree wholeheartedly, but the whole action of posting about how stupid ESPN is.. it's just getting old. It's been old since 2000 or so. Why even bring them up in discussion anymore as if they have something to say.

You're right, Staples crowd doesn't jeer and cheer when other stars are owning the Lakers

They definitely werent givnig Double P and Ray Ray standing O's for that 24pt comeback route for the finals record, and BSPN weren't comparing them to the 96 Bulls because of it either.
