I would like to see his number retired by the NBA...like how 42 is in MLB for Jackie Robinson.

Thats my point as good as he (KOBE) is the Big Daddy makes him that much better and in turn hurts his chances of ever reaching that level. I watched the Kings game and watched Kobe slice them up partly because he is good and partly cause you have to stay at home with shaq you can't help out when he is in the paint. I hope no one takes that the wrong way like I said he is certainly gonna be up there I would even say top 15 if he keeps it up but his impact will never be reach his Airness. To understand how BIG MJ is to the game of Bball you have to combine the top players of right now. You have Kobe/Tmac/Healthy Vince athleteism, AI heart, Kidd leadership, Shaq domination, Artest/KG intensity, Duncans smarts and Fundamentals. Thats MJ all that combined is what he did to this game he made people love to hate him and not like how people hate KOBE (Nobody would have ever BOOED MJ in his hometown) I mean hate him cause you respect him and you know he is gonna get in that ARSE.Comment
