If you think the Heat did the wrong thing by retiring MJ's jersey then you're a moron. They did not retire it because he "kicked their asses" all those years, they retired it because he did so much for the game. So if anyone is sorry, it's you.

Well the whole league could still retire it if they wanted...MJ doesn't have to be there for them to retire his jersey...it would be cool if he went to every other team's arena but thats not going to happen...anyway, we'll see what happens...

Jordan isn't done playing yet, so for all we know, the rest of the league WILL retire his jersey, Miami was just the 1st team to do so.

Jordan isn't done playing yet, so for all we know, the rest of the league WILL retire his jersey, Miami was just the 1st team to do so.

I believe they should retire his number throughout the whole league. That is respect! I also believe they should change the NBA logo from Jerry West to Michael Jordan.

I think they should change it. Michael Jordan has done way more for the NBA than West has. Also, the logo is kind of boring. I doubt it would happen though, because the coolest looking NBA Logo would be one like the jumpan logo.

I think they should change it. Michael Jordan has done way more for the NBA than West has. Also, the logo is kind of boring. I doubt it would happen though, because the coolest looking NBA Logo would be one like the jumpan logo.

Yeah if they were to change it you would think it would be to the jumpman logo but that would make all kinds of copyright problems one would assume. Still I think it should be done!

I like the bash at Artest, he's a great player and off the court is a good person and treats all fans with respect and is also an involved father and fiance'. Also he is going back to 15 for the playoffs, he only wore 23 to honor MJ. He plays with MJ in the summers, so that must mean something.

Anyways, Riley's quote seemed so heartfelt and that is amazing that the first Heat Jersey number retired was never a player for the heat. It's truly remarkable. Nobody, and I mean Nobody will ever come close to MJ's impact. Kobe is nowhere near it. T-Mac is not even close. And don't even start with LeBron.
