I understand what he means cause alot of topics get filled with Laker talk real quick but my refrence is more to prove a point than to big up anybody. 23 should be retired through out the NBA especially for Ron Artest he should not be wearing that. Not dissing him but BiPolar Man should have stuck with 15

I think the NBA should just retire the #23 then 3 of the big 4 sports will have universally retired numbers

BASEBALL: #42 (Jackie Robinson
HOCKEY: #99 (Wayne Gretzky)
BASKETBALL: #23 (Michael Jordan)

As for current stars getting their number retired like that. The only one I can see that happening to is Kobe but he has to put up 10 more seasons similar to this year.
