      Re: Anthony Randolph

Dude he is a rookie! On a terrible team who can barely get on the court.

It is clear you are a homer GSW, the same guy saying Morrow was going to average 20 a game this year.

Randolph is shooting 43% (he is 6'11 right?) he averages 2 turnovers to every 1 assist. He is rail thin.

Great athlete but come on dude. He isn't the second coming right now. He is barely a rotational player on a bad team and on a good team he would be nothing more than a practice player.

Why yawn at him though? It isn't like some of the stuff he's saying isn't true.

            Re: Anthony Randolph

Randolph is going to be nasty, it's just not gonna happen for a few years. He has far more skill than Tyrus Thomas or Stromile Swift, not to mention he plays hard as well. He isn't as skilled as Odom but he's easily more athletic.

As for him barely cracking the rotation, he's a 19 year old kid who was in Don Nelson's dog house for not practicing hard. Slowly but surely he's figuring things out and he seems to be on the right path, I think he'll be an All-Star some day.

Hah, great line from that article:

"The Cavs have five plays: High screen with Ilgauskas and LeBron; high screen with Varejao and LeBron; high screen with Joe Smith and LeBron; everyone clears out so LeBron can go one-on-one; post up Ilgauskas on the left block. That's Cleveland's offense. I am not making this up. Which raises the question: What the hell is Mike Brown diagramming for them during timeouts? Is he like the guy from "Memento" or something? Guys, I just thought of something … what if we ran a high screen for LeBron?"

                        Re: Anthony Randolph

Nah, I'm easy on young players and point guards. I think we judge too many players by the Lebron standard, and that's not fair because he's one of the best athletes in the history of sports. Most guys between 18-21 years old still need to develop their bodies to play in a league as physical as the NBA, especially from the forward position.

The PG position carries a lot of responsibility, is tougher to learn, requires many skills, and pits you against some of the toughest matchups in the league, so I give point guards some time as well. Four year shooting guards out of college should be producing within two years at the max.
