I swear it's not in Randolph's genes to be a 4 in the league, but hey...that's just me.
I think he will put on some pounds not a whole lot but enough... He will gain alot of lean muscle like a KG or a young Lamar and he will bounce between a 3 and 4 causing mismatches...

          Re: Anthony Randolph

          Randy is currently averaging:

6.4ppg, 4.7 rpg, 1.1 bpg, 0.4 apg. on the season.

However if youve been watching my dubs lately you will see that those seaosn avg numbers dont really do him justice...and although hes being allowed now to intiate the offense, he is still nto allowed to create for himself , only shoot open jumpers...(he still makes bad decisions) If anyone saw the game yesterday vs the Mavs youll know exactly what im talking about.

His last ten games have been quite wonderful (especially on the defensive end, rebounding and shot blocking)

          vs Utah: 26 minutes... 20 points, 7-11, 8 rebounds (3 offensive), 4 blocks
          @ Min: 17 minutes... 4 points, 2-3, 5 rebounds(1 offensive), 2 blocks
          @ Chi: 14 minutes... 4 points, 2-4, 10 rebounds(3 Off), 2 blocks
          @ Det: 47 minutes... 17 points, 5-13, 8 rebounds,(4 off), 3 blocks
          @ Mil: 21 minutes... 5 points, 2-3, 8 rebounds (2 off), 1 block
          vs NJN: 17 minutes... 8 points, 1-2, 6 rebounds (1 off), 0 blocks
          vs DAL: 21 minutes... 14 points, 5-10, 7 rebounds (4 off), 3 steals, 3 asists, 3 blks
          vs PHX: 17 minutes... 9 points, 3-6, 6 rebounds (3 off), 2 assists, 1 block
          vs Clippers: 25 minutes... 14 points, 6-9, 6 rebs (1 off), 1 ast, 1 steal, 1 block
vs. LAL: 2 minutes (wtf nelly)... 2 rebounds.
          @ NewOrleans: 11 minutes... 2 pts, 1-2, 1 rebound, 1 block
          @ SAS: 25 minutes... 13 points, 5-12, 9 rebounds (4 offensive), 2 asts, 5 blocks

          and finally yesterday
          @ Dallas: 31 minutes... 10 points, 4-8, 6 rebounds (1 off), 1 ast, 2 steals.

Asw e can see by these game logs, he is clearly going to be a phenominal rebounder and shot blocker thruought his career, and when his offense comes around..WOW.

If you peep his game log there hasnt been one game all year he has taken 20 shots...this is due to, like i said, nelly not allowing him to generate his own offense yet outside of open jumpers, or slashes to the hoop in obvious situations.

Too me, and yea i do get to watch him every game, he is a very vewry impressive basketball player.

I was speaking with X*cell during the spurs game, and we both agreed that at 6'10 i dont know if i have ever seen a player with handles like AR sicne maybe magic johnson, i beleive i said this before thogh... either way, dont go off the deep in and start claiming im comparing him to magic because im not, but the ball handling ability is there thats for sure...

anyway, as a warrior fan i dont have too much to look forward to over the years, but it appears we might have stumbled into our future "best player on the team"...

and btw, hes defintly a 4,atleast right now.

antonie wright was giving him the buisness last night... he has the lateral quickness to keep up with 3's but because hes such a good shot blocker he ALWAYS tries to block everything, so he easily bites on pump fakes... he is a VERY smart kid tho and over time i have no worries he wil overcome that.

this kid is going to be special.

          hes 19!!

8 points 6 rebounds in 17 minutes is pretty decent imo.

Greg Oden, most dominant player in the league and he's been injured for half of the year!

And I also never said his numbers weren't decent, good or bad. I just said it was unacceptable for the defense to allow that, but when you have a 12 year old coaching your team, you kinda get used it. :-((

                    Re: Anthony Randolph

He gets more rebounds because he plays on a team that has more possessions/shots than anyone else in the league.

The debate about position....I think we can all agree he will never be a back to the basket player. But he will be able to defend any position on the court in his prime. Yes even centers.

....should be dominating the NCAA tournament but instead he is playing 15 minutes a night in the NBA on a losing team....

no thats not why JR... he is an excellent rebounder... the posessions dont maginfy his numbers anymroe then any other PF who is also a good rebounder...

I suppose the shot blocking numbers are inflated as well... since the opposition has more chances at the basket.

i love it when people use this argument....just more mud slinging at the warriors.

have you even watched us play at all this season besides that debacle vs the suns?

hes playing very good minutes, and contributing on a competive basketball team refining his skills, he wasnt even being used right at LSU...

dont be that guy man you are better than that.
