    At the most, 2.

They will, IMO, get to one.

I think people forget how young the Blazers core is, and how quickly things change. Less than 2 years ago the Lakers were on the verge of dealing Kobe and rebuilding, lol. Now theyre unbeatable for the next decade?

I'm in the camp that doubts they can resign all these guys, but if they can keep it intact for a few seasons, the Roy/Aldridge/Bayless combo is going to be ridiculous. Thats a lock.

Until LeBron signs on the bottom line, the Cavs aren't headed for anything.

There is something about the Lakers that I can't put my finger on. To me, they're too soft, too mentally fragile to win become any dynasty. With the current makeup of role players they have, I don't they can beat anybody that comes out the East in a 7 game series.

The Blazers success is contigent on Oden...and right now that doesn't look too good. If Oden can dominate the boards, protect the rim, and become good around the basket offensively, than the Blazers can do some damage with a veteran PG and bench players.

Why is everybody writing off New Orleans? They're a 2 guard away from being in the discussion.

Utah has some good pieces, but have been hurt this year.

Whoever gets Dirk/Amare will be a force.

Because people know how cheap George Shinn is and won't give a damn about improving his team.

            This thread is REALLY comical.

              I kind of agree.

They can be one of the best regular season teams ever if they get a full 82 with their big 3. But, come playoff time they aren't physical enough.

However, what they do have is skill. Something that is much more difficult to acquire than "toughness." I think they can change for the playoffs.

Phil Jackson is still there coach. He realizes their weaknesses. He addressed it in the offseason and everyone saw how LA started. For reasons I don't know, he decided not to put the primary emphasis on being physical for the whole season.

Phil is a different coach come playoff time. Just sayin...don't be surprised

What I am saying, however, is that Blazers Cavaliers will be a finals match up sometime in the next 3 years and I feel very confident in that prediction.
If things go EXACTLY right then you HAVE to consider the following

                1. The Lakers will STILL be the best in the West

                2. Utah will keep Deron AND Boozer and they will STILL be better than Portland
                3. San Antonio will quickly
reload like they are known to do and will STILL be better than Portland

                4. Artest and Yao will stay healthy and TMAC will get traded for something valuable which will make them BETTER than Portland

I just don't see how fair it is for you to allow everything to go perfect for Portland but not for the other teams. That is my point. If Portland is going to get PERFECT treatment, then place every other team in that dream.

Some Blazers Fans are getting a little too cocky now with this winning the championship in 3 years thing.
