Re: Glen Davis
My interpretation of the word ain't the issue. It's the fact that this 260-280 lb man is 12-14 ft away from the basket taking jumpers everytime he touches the ball unless he is by the basket.
Makes absolutely no sense that somebody HIS size would rather stray away from basket as opposed to using his strength to back down some of these players guarding him or developing some type of post game.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Glen Davis
I'm not going to waste time arguing about glen davis, i already explained it in my other post. I've watched every Celtics game this season, so i guess i'd turn your question around and ask how many have you seen. If you had watched the games you would know that he doesn't shoot most of the time he gets it and when he does its because thats what the offense wants him to do in that situation. If they thought 6'7/8 Glen Davis could develop a back to the basket post game then he would be doing that.Comment

Re: Glen Davis
there a ton of bigs who sit out at the 15 foot line and iniate the offense. you can be a back to the basket type player and be out there. you get the ball and you pass it.
meanwhile glen davis just shoots it. i watch a ton of celtics games. ask the real celtic fans here. they know what i'm talking aboutComment

Re: Glen Davis
Yea I used to get frustrated with that midrange shot but he's hit em at crucial situations lately. I don't really have a big problem with him taking it if its late in the shot clock and that's all we can get, but def not a primary option by any means.

Re: Glen Davis
0-5.. in 10 minutes...
there was a time where he had a wide open 12 footer and passed it up.. i was proud of him.. every other time he's shot it.. whether he was on the block or facing up..
