Chicago refuses to get up on shooters. That and the defensive rotations have been bad.

But Big Baby has been getting it done.

Why would you get up on Big Baby.. sure he makes his shots every once in a while but I would never honor his shot

I know that Glen Davis doesn't stroke it like Ray Allen, but his midrange jumpshot has been on. Sure, teams do not game plan to stop him, but on pick and pop situations, he's proving to be a great option.

I love watching Rondo run off a double screen of Perk and Baby. Perk rolls to the hoop, Baby pops for a jumper and Rondo has his choice of how to baffle the defense.

Seems to me he's been hitting his shots more than "every once in a while".

Just ignore what ryan says as long as it has to do with the Celtics.

Big Baby is playing big for the C's. I love his jump shot when it's money. Love his game, and it seems that he goes hard every play.

It's pretty obvious every other NBA team agrees with me when there isn't a man within 5 feet of Glen Davis every time he shoots.

You're funny because those are the exact same shots KG gets in our offense. I guess NBA teams think the same of him as well.

Orrrr.... it could be the fact that we have Paul Pierce and Ray Allen running around the wings.

                    The dynasty will return

Paul Pierce... talent + heart + toughness = The Truth

Those same teams that aren't honoring that shot this season sure as hell will be honoring it next year. Plus, that dude above me is absolutely correct, which he usually seems to be when it concerns the Celtics.... /\ /\ /\

Ya plus a big man that can shoot will always get open shots...look at ilgauskus or david west...they always get open jumpers even though you know they can knock them down

When I saw "the way he played last nite", I was thinking a 13/16 for 32 points and 16 rebounds against Dwight Howard.

A thread over a 6-12 for 18 points and 2 rebounds against the Pacers? It's come to that?
and ya i think u might wanna change that statement right about now....if u know basketball u can see talent

LOL don't get it twisted. Cebby said he was a role player. Still true and will always be true.

Baby is a good role player, I don't think he'll be anything more than that.

And i never said he wasn't a role player i just said that i saw some really impressive basktball from him at the time and that he needed to be mentioned because he's been bashed on these threads over the past few months. If u erase glen davis in this series i promise you it would have been a 4-0 sweep or 4-1 series.

And what makes it worse is that doc rivers took out glen davis even though the 4 guard lineup wasn't even giving glen davis and perkins any trouble at all!!!! AT ALL

The only time that lineup works AT ALL is when they come with 4 guards or mikki moore and scalabrine is on the floor. And thats it end of story.

Glen Davis draws an immediate double team on the offensive end and then doesn't even get torched too badly by salmons because perkins is there to protect the rim
