I'd say in the stretch run 32/9.5/10.5 over the last 6 games might seal it when its all said and done

Re: MVP Discussions
If it's anyone other than LeBron, then the media is full of liars and two faced people. They have redefined the MVP award, and right now, LeBron is the most valuable player on one of the best teams in the NBA.
If it goes to Wade, then the media is going to once again redefine the MVP award and LeBron gets screwed out of it again.Too Old To Game Club

Re: MVP Discussions
D Wade has had the better season in regards to Lebron and Kobe. He won't win because of his team record, which is an arguement for another thread. I think Lebron will win and deservedly so. He has taken his game to another level and has earned the MVP. Kobe is having another MVP season, but hasn't had to do as much as Wade and Lebron.

Re: MVP Discussions
I'm just saying that experts, which I don't claim to be, thought that the Cavs would be a top contender in the East. Lebron being the main reason. I think the Heat are much better than people thought. Wade being the reason. I'm not saying one is more impressive than the other. Here's a thought. What if you take Lebron and put him on this years Heat team, and Wade on the Cavs. Do you think that either teams records would better, worst, or about the same? I'm just thinking out loud.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football

Re: MVP Discussions
Why doesn't the league just cut the **** and rename it the "Best Player on the Best Team" Award since that's what it really is. Makes no sense to call it a Most Valuable Player award when nobody really don't the definition of the word.
But yea:
Prince James
D.Wade

Re: MVP Discussions
I don't believe in the, "Take ____ off of ____ team and put him on ____ team."
The MOST I will do is look at the surrounding parts WITHOUT that player.
Cavs without LeBron
Heat without Wade
Probably both non playoff teams. Cavs have a shot of making it though.
LeBron with Cavs = Best in east
Wade with Heat = 5th in east
Again, how can you say Wade is more important to his team?
You can use the element of suprise in someone's favor when it comes to deserving the MVP Award. So LeBron should be punished because he is doing what he is SUPPOSED to be doing?Concrete evidence/videos pleaseComment

Re: MVP Discussions
Well I said that Lebron has earned and should win the MVP.
Because his team is in the middle of the pack Wade won't win.
According to some, because Kobe plays on a team "loaded" with talent he shouldn't win.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football

Re: MVP Discussions
I do have beef however with the Kobe vs. Wade debate. Kobe is doing NOTHING differently from last year when he won the MVP award, and Wade is not doing as much as James did last year (with comparable team records) and yet Wade is ahead of Kobe in so many people's eyes when James last year didn't even finish 2nd in the MVP voting. I suppose the game winners are helping Wade but I don't see how Kobe has changed at all from last year, but all of a sudden Wade should be ahead of him.Comment

Re: MVP Discussions
About the putting James on the Heat and Wade on the Cavs, I definitely think that the Cavs would be worse than they are while the Heat would be much better than they are. I mean, over the lats few years James has won 50 games with rosters that included starters such as an inconsistent Gooden, an offensively challenged Eric Snow, and Sasha Pavlovic...and like I said, these guys were the STARTERS! I definitely would think of a lineup that includes Mario Chalmers, Jermaine O'Neal/Shawn Marion (one or the other), Michael Beasley and Udonis Haslem is more talented, so yes, I do think LeBron would do better if the teams were switched around.
