They need to stop wasting people's time and change the name of the award to something else.

CP3 can't get no love from anybody but Dwight can though?

        How do you figure?

Of the last 4 full seasons that Jordan didn't win the MVP, only once did he have a better record than the winner, and it wasn't close in the others years.

Barkley's Suns won 5 more games and Magic's Lakers won 10 and 8 more games.

Yeah how the F are people overlooking him? He's having as good or better season that last year. It just so happens NO's got lucky with no injuries last year.

          My list:

          LBJ

          Wade
          CP3/Bryant
          Howard

You really think Barkley and Malone deserved those awards over MJ?

Doesn't matter in his point which is that this isn't a recent development where you give the MVP to the best player on the best team or one of the best teams.

You're the one who made the argument that the "best player on best team" would have given MJ at least 2 more MVPs. Aside from 1997, it wouldn't have happened.

Because CP3's team is underachieving and Dwight's team is almost #2 in the East. No point of mentioning 5th place

                    Dude, look at the avy.

They should just rename the award the Jordan award, and all others for that matter...

The Jordan 1st Team, 2nd, etc.

The Defensive Jordan Player of the Year. The Rookie of the Year Jordan trophy.

                      Roy is deep at 4.

I believe LeBron should win this. Like a few of you have said, if you model it after the way they have been doing it for the last 20 years, it should go to the best player on the best team.
Roy 4th? Explain PLEASE how you have him over Kobe and how Kobe doesn't manage to crack your top 4

He's a Kobe *****. The guy said that Kobe was the most overrated player in the history of the NBA. I stopped taking him seriously after that.

Like I said there is no need for anyone other than Wade, Kobe, Bron to even be mentioned. Nobody else has a CHANCE of getting it. Even though I don't think Wade has a real chance either

In my eyes: Wade, Lebron, Kobe. Reaaally close this year between Wade and LeBron and both have stepped up their game to ridiculous heights in February and March (look it up). Kobe's having an arguably better year than last year, all things considered but just shy of Wade and LeBron's greatness this year.

It'll probably be LeBron, Kobe, Wade unless Wade clinches homecourt in the first round for the Heat as well as keeping up his ridiculous March paces.
