No, but he thinks Jordan is going to remain on a heavenly pedestal above and beyond everyone else forever.
Whatever, it's cyclical. I'm pretty sure fans in the '60s/'70s/'80s thought that no one would ever surpass Wilt/West/Magic/Bird. Jordan is always going to be revered by the age 25-40 generation, but once younger fans embrace some of the new stars of this generation, he'll be remembered only on game film.
I probably just committed ultimate blasphemy against Saint Jordan, so I'll exit from the thread.I write things on the Internet.

Not really. A lot of the old timers who grew up in the eras that preceded Jordan have agreed that he was the best ever. And its not like people who grew up in the 70s or 80s go around saying Jim Rice, Reggie Jackson, etc. were as good as Babe Ruth.Comment

Re: Since MJ Left, Has There Really Been A COMPLETE Player In The League?
Here is my list in order
Kobe, Wade, Lebron. Kobe and Wade are better clutch shooter than lebron. I mean according to Espn this season Lebron hits his first buzzer beater. I would like to see melo up there but he lack defense even though its getting better, and leadership. And melo is a better clutch shooter than lebron.Comment

wow really are you serious, ok buddy. So if lebron and wade switch place you say the heat will be more dangerous than the Cavs.
Do you understand that wade and lebron stats are not far off from each other on the def stats Blocks, Steals, and the off stats points, assisit. The only thing that seperate them is rebounds. To make this more interesting Wade has more blocks and steals than lebron and yet im havent heard nobody mention him for the Defensive player of the year award.Last edited by stateprop; 04-18-2009, 11:58 PM.Comment

Ok What about D-Wade he is the Heat the cavs got Mo ( I kno they didn't have him last year but still) when the heat didn't have Wade last year they were terrible an Wade has defense he has like a 100+ steals and 100+ blocks he is RAW! everyone always thinks Oh Lebron Is The BEST! but he hasn't even won a championship!? I mean lebron is hella good but D-wade is D-wade! lol but no one can replace MJ for how do you think the NBA got lebron, kobe, dwade, melo, cp3, etc. All because of MJ he is basketball
