Agree. I don't know when it was that the perception fairy made Howard into a force you can just dump it into...but he's far from being that guy. Limited moves and no ballhandling. That said, he's obviously stupid athletic around the rim and a tremendous finisher, so its up to SVG to be more creative with his sets to get a weapon like that better looks. Hoping he can back down a shorter guy with a lower center of gravity and who is nearly as strong is a poor tactic.

I agree with the sentiment that SVG has done alot with a little, as they're a top 3 defensive efficiency team with only two defensive players on the roster, lol...But he's still in hot water, IMO. Bill Simmons made a great point about guys like Stan and the Hawks' Mike Woodson. You can't be an "in your face" type of coach if you haven't proven that your way works...and all the yelling and screaming won't change that. Guys like Larry Brown and Coach Pop can brow beat players. Lesser coaches need to be more diplomatic in trying to connect with their guys, and it looks like SVG is on the brink of losing this locker room.

Like Kash said, Jameer is the answer. He and Howard are best friends, and I guarantee Nelson would find a way to feed the big guy in spots where he could do some damage.

That is why he needs to develope some sort of shot. he becomes predictable in the post. Look how the celtics contained him in that game. It was not rocket science. Sure Howard will get his putbacks.....the dude is like 7 ' feet tall.
