yup only time can tell, there are a lot of excellent ball players out there, kobe is not the only one. we have t-mac, Kg and iverson and a lot more.
why always KOBE. MY god he just lost this season. that game 6 proved a lot. i was expecting a lot from him. and what happened? nothing, did you see him take the game on his own hands? NADA

I do agree that there are other people taht could be the next Mj like T-mac and Ai. I believe Kobe, T-mac, and Ai are the 3 best guards in the league and are equal. The only reason anyone brings up kobe is cause everyone talks about him. Poeple publicly announce that KObe is not the next Mj and no one said that about the other players. Obviously people are going to defend only Kobe in that scenario. Really its the person who started this thread is the reason why everyone is only talking about Kobe and only him as being, or not being the next MJ.

Uuuhhhmmm, my created 2K3 player believes he is the next big thing.
Honestly, Kobe is Kobe. He can talk, eat walk and drive like Jordan. Hell he can even surpass Jordan statistically but he is still Kobe. And not Jordan. And Jordan is the greatest player that ever play in his era. But it was not known until the late part of his era.
Todays era, not yet known who. Some say it is Shaq or Duncan. I am afraid I have to admit. Since only the referee can stop there dominance on the low post.

Any you know that when MJ was Kobe's age, he didn't have the same quality of teammates that Kobe has, right?

Pippen and Grant were either not on the Bulls yet, or they were still raw talents back then.
