I think that with Durant's already elite shooting and his size, he has the potential to surpass Kobe as the most complete offensive player I've seen.

However, it was only 5-6 years ago that TMac was going to develop a bit and dominate the NBA.

Its no big deal that you occasionally hate on him...every star has that anti-fan group. Always will. I was just pointing out that you always post something like:

"you get 50 lashes for talking bad about Lebron"

or "OMG you can't say anything about his royal Kingship"

...anytime someone disputes you. We both know we can find at least 5-6 instances of this in your post history. You've even rocked it as a sig, lol. You always have legit points...it's not that irrational hate some folks have for a certain Laker, tho. I was just making an observation, bro.

It doesn't matter when he meant it, Durant will not suddenly average 8 assist a night.

Let's not forget, LeBron isn't even in his prime yet. It's not like LeBron is a finished product and Durant is improving, they are both improving at the same time. And that's not to say Durant isn't going to be good, but LeBron's stats are Magic-esqe while Durant, to me, reminds me much more of Melo than LeBron.

I think Durant will create his own legacy, which is a great scorer, but I don't know if he'll ever be much more than that.

When will people understand that something as petty as assist averages does not stop player A from being a better all around basketball player than player B? It's like calling Josh Smith a great defender 'cause he puts up stats.

There are other skills, techniques, and intangibles that Kevin Durant has RIGHT now that LeBron doesn't have after 6 years in the league. LeBron's game is complete as far as stuffing major stat categories, but when you look at his on-court game he still has major holes.

In short, you can see his glaring deficiencies compared to what makes him great.

I can't say the same for Durant, at least on the offensive end.

Oh and to add on, in regards to the 50 lashes part, he wasn't the only one mentioned there. Kobe, Dirk, A.I, and T-Mac were also mentioned as well lol.
