Jason Kidd is overrated

They still do. The Nets were never favored to win. In every poll I saw, in every forecast, in every little prediction, they always had the Spurs to win it all.

I think the Spurs will win it all. But I'm cheerin for the Nets, cause they're the underdogs. GOOOOO NEW JERSEY!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

Uhh…no excuse, Steve Francis is a point, Stephon, is a Point, Nash is a point, GP is a point and all guarantee you at least 20, while getting their teammates involved, so give me another excuse. AI has been clutch for years, he misses 2 ft’s and now he isn’t clutch??? Pierce did that not to long ago, and I don’t see anyone saying he isn’t clutch.

You quoted me and still didn’t get what I was saying. I said A LITTLE overrated. Meaning some people thought a little to much about him. Kidd is a good player and raises the level of his teammates play. But people were saying “he’ll be the first to win a championship in the east since Jordan,” and “Oh the Spurs can’t stop Kidd and the Nets, they can’t stop they’re fastbreaks,” and (These are my favorite ones) “Who’s going to stop K-mart???” and “Lucious Harris is better than Manu.” So, yes I said Kidd and the Nets were a LITTLE overrated. The Spurs beat the LAKERS for Christ sake!!! but now, all of a sudden because the Nets swept in the EAST, the Nets are the favorites to win??? That’s what I call overrated. I think they good but, too many people brought in to the hype.

Once again, people brought in to the hype, and even though it was not said here, I’ve heard at other boards, particularly the Nets Message board at ESPN.com. I was just using it as a point that people believe the Kidd and the Nets are better than what they are.

No way do I question Kidd as a leader, I was questioning people like Barkley who call themselves analyst, and make such a ridiculous pick, I’m not a Spurs fan and I know the Nets won’t beat them. Once again Charles and others brought in to the hype and overrated them a LITTLE. Remember the Nets are an EAST team, the WEST should most times be the favorite. The Hornets, Magic, and Detroit could of gotten there, once again the EAST is about who’s healthy and matchups. And LOL on the Sixers suck, they make the playoffs and they suck??? They were ft’s and a stop away from being in the ECF and the Sixers suck??? Some Sixers fan you are. I don’t overrated or underrate, I just see it for what it is.

All an all I generally respect your opinions, especially since you’re a fellow Sixers fan, but today you were way off, and you missed quoted me and call me dumb, for nothing. I would expect this on a ESPN board, not here.

i think if you asked most players and coaches who is the best point guard in the league today, 95% of them are going to say jason kidd.....

Kidd is turning into the scorer his team need but right now he is a distributing point guard
Look at Big Ben he is a great player but only on the defensive end why not hate on him
