    Re: 1/18-1/24 NBA Discussion

I don't expect that trend to continue for an entire series, the Hawks will at least make it competitive. honestly, i'm not sure why the games turn out that way, but on paper there is no way the magic are that much of a mismatch. Smith can check shard, williams is athletic enough to guard any 3 or 2 on the magic, JJ can check vince, and bibby can't guard anyone but the hawks play good enough team defense to cover that up. horford should be able to stretch dwight to the perimeter and open up the floor for the other hawks. i dunno, i know they got crushed every time out so far but i will still reserve judgment until i see them play that way in a 7 game playoff series. i just think the hawks will eventually get it together against the magic

I also have a feeling that they'll get it together. I think they are a young team with some midseason blues.
He spread the floor that's for sure and also liked to put the ball to the deck and post up as well. Nobody said he was an assist man.

Vince seems strictly like a spot up shooter these days, I didn't really see him doing much else even pre-injury.

Either way both players seem to have went down a notch from last year. So it's really a crap shoot.

Unreal 2010 so far. Wallace is absolutely dominating on defense as always (5 blocks so far tonight) and this team has had a 20+ point lead in 3 straight games. Shot 82% in the 1st quarter. Larry Brown is a magician.

Well, Manu came to play for the Spurs. I'm not sure if I can say that for anyone else on the team, though. Bad start.

BTW, Tim Duncan needs 14 more points to break 20,000 career points.

104-65 Final for Bobcats-Heat. THAT is how you take over the 5th place spot in the East. Damn Charlotte, keep it up.

Now that I look at it, Caron took a horrible shot at the end..he had Mike Miller wide open in the corner.

Bobcats win 104-65 over Heat. Largest margin of victory in franchise history. Before the game, Beasley said that the Heat should have an easy win.

Hopefully we can do something like that Friday night agains the Heat, but knowing the Wiz, it'll be a tight one since we can't blow nobody out.
