36 for Orlando, 11 for Boston in the third quarter. Holy moly

Kind of a blah game for the most part

          Re: 2/1-2/7 NBA Discussion

I have Cleveland in not so much because they "look so good", although they do pretty darn good, but because of how Orlando and Boston look.

Orlando looks much less potent than last year, Howard hasn't improved his post game, they're going to have to hope Vince can keep this up during the playoffs. Nelson doesn't look half as good as he did last year when he was an All Star.

Boston just looks slow and banged up. Their defense is still solid but not like it used to be. When Rondo is your best player, you're in trouble. Shout out to Rondo though.

Atlanta will never figure out Cleveland as long as LBJ is in CLE. CLE owns Atlanta simple as that.

I thought Jefferson would mesh very well with the Spurs, but he is a borderline disaster at this point.

George Hill is so much better than him it's obscene. I have no hope that something will click and RJ will fit in with this team, and it hurts that it would be near impossible to move his contract without throwing away other assets.

Maybe RJ will prove me wrong as some point, but he has been horrid for the contract he was given.

its clearly a 2 team race in the east between the CAVS and MAGIC. the hawks as is cant beat either of those 2 teams because Dwight always destroys them and because the cavs have LBJ and are just too big for them.

the key to Orlando for me is Jameer Nelson. if he can get back to the form he was playing with last year before he got injured and vince just gives them a solid play the rest of the way, then orlando can beat the cavs. him and dwight gots to get that connection back though.

cleveland running away with the best record means nothing. they were the top team last year remember?

agreed on all points. mike brown is a terrible coach running a terrible offense. Doc is a pretty good coach.

Wallace has been terrible and what makes this worse is that he was acquired because Doc and Ainge were worried that KG may not be the same player after his injury. but here comes wallace jacking up 3's and bricking damn near all of them.

big baby played well last year and has missed most of the early part of this year. i think he just needs to find his groove again.

Counting out Boston out at this point in the season is beyond stupid.

If they get healed, which I don't see why it's not possible, they're as good as anyone in the entire league.

im not counting them out, because i think they will make some type of move. but KG is not the same and thats the key. plus their bench has not played well. House is the only one really playing well consistently. tony allen plays well sometimes, big baby has been injured, wallace has been bad, and Daniels has been injured as well.

we'll see how they play when healthy.

                              .
Last year they were the top team with: no post presence whatsoever...no tall defenders...one-dimensional players Wally, Sasha and Ben as frontline contributors...and Bron wasn't the post player or shooter he is now. Even with those holes, the only teams that gave us trouble last year were ORL and LAL due to size mismatches.

                              That advantage is dust.

I agree that nothing in this regular season matters...but this aint the same team.

It's not just the Spurs system as to why RJ sucks.

The NBA has a heap of players that only get stats because they're there to be had on certain teams. Put them on good teams and they usually suck.

I would love to get rid of him but the fact is no one would take him.

And I wish people would stop saying Spurs need help up front. If Duncan really is the best PF to ever play the game then he should be enough.

Spurs need defense from the guards and more consistent shooting.
