Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread

It's looking more and more like LeBron is staying in Cleveland with a Bosh sign and trade and Wade & Boozer to Chicago.

Or maybe that is my wishful thinking at this point.

Either way I don't see anyone dropping everything to go play with Amar'e Stoudemire. If I were him I woulda stayed in Phoenix.

          And no Finals appearance.

LeBron is thinking in terms of championship. He has to get one if he wants to achieve the status of greatness. If he goes back to Cleveland with the same team, he's hurting his chances of achieving that championship. Looking at the NBA landscape, teams are getting better. And especially if Chicago gets Wade(and possibly Boozer) do you think the Cavs can take them in a 7-game series? I'm not a big fan of the Amare signing BUT it does make New York better. I feel that even if they don't get anybody else, they'll still be in the playoff hunt. Orlando is still Orlando. And from my understanding, they beat Cleveland two years ago in the playoffs. Boston is coming back with the same core, and they beat Cleveland last year.

And let's just say, Cleveland happens to make the Finals with the same team, is it enough to beat the Lakers or any Western Conference champion? I myself feels that it's not enough. Cleveland has to add another piece if they want to get over that hump. And Bosh would be a great start.

Why would you have stayed in Phoenix? The core is pretty old, and the Lakers aren't getting worse yet. In fact, with the impending replacing of Fisher and a possibly healthy Bynum, they are getting better.

He's concerned about matching up in the playoffs rather than their regular season success.

              Thank you!

I hate to say it because I don't want to jinx anything, but it looks like the writing is on the wall. But you never know.

If that would happen, Chicago should look to sign maybe a healthier T-Mac or Iverson for the Vet min off the bench.

They are? Besides Nash and Hill they are a fairly young team. I think I would rather play with an aging Nash than anyone that the Knicks currently have on the roster. I imagine the only reason he went there was because they were the only team that would offer him a max deal, which he probably didn't deserve.

A healthy Bynum? I'll believe it when I see it. The kid's been hurt almost every year in the league.

I don't want either of them anywhere near the Bulls roster. The vet min is too much to pay for T-Mac who can't stay on the floor and Iverson...ehh no thanks. I want the Bulls to pick up Ray Allen personally but probably won't happen. I think that might be my dream scenario if Wade, Boozer and Allen go to the Bulls.

He doesn't want to be in Cleveland and he has to sign off on wherever he has to go. Bosh seems like he's going to Chicago if they can pull it off without trading Noah because he practically refuses to play center. And they made an interesting point this morning I believe on Mike and Mike, that with the big market everyone is trying to get being apparently China (I suppose because of the giant population) that the average Houston Rockets regular season game gets more viewers than the Super Bowl because everyone in China tunes into to see Yao. So Houston could be an interesting player in this as well.

Don't get me wrong I hope you're right but I can't see Bosh turning down the oppurtunity to play with LeBron on a team that already won 60 games without him on the roster and still get his money.

Where did you see that? If LeBron convinces him to go to Cleveland, that'd be quite a change of circumstances. The biggest selling points are playing together and getting the full, max contract, but maybe Joakim already got to him on how the Rock Hall and lakes on fire are so lame. lol
