I'm being told that Lebron will sign a 5 year deal but only if he gets controlling stake of the Cavaliers.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

As far as ownership? Can't be done. Against NBA rules.

Lebron is in talks with David Stern to get a one-time "king's ransom" exception, that's why it's taking so long.

Well I dunno where you heard that, but my sources say LeBron has been spending alot of time in Chinatown in New York and Chicago secretly since being eliminated from the playoffs. Expect LeBron to demand a sign & trade to the Rockets to continue phase one of his plan to take his brand global by scaling the Great Wall from the shores of the US with Yao. Once the Chinese army is on his side, expect a large scale invasion of other world markets to post Witness posters, force t-shirts and LBJ Nikes on people.

I believe this idea was tossed around when Jordan was a free agent back in 97. It died quickly. Now if the league won't change the rules for Jordan, what makes you think they'll do it for James?

Because the King gets what the King wants.

Now that would be a game changer. Don't forget that that Chinese company owns part of the Cavs so what could happen is that the Cavs and Rockets merge into one super team.

Is he going to do it ala NBA Draft Lottery style, where he'll choose a random lottery ball that is drawn up out of the machine?

Seriously though, am I the only one who sees how stupid this is? The **** do you need to have a timeslot dedicated to your *** just so you can tell everyone where you're going? Hell, announcing it on Twitter makes more sense than this, IMO.

WOW! SO LeBron is going to make a big show out of it. SO the Bosh/Wade documentary doesn't look bad after all.

The very same. Dude gets around, only World Wide Wes knows more than him.

If this is true, he's staying in Cleveland. This has been the most calculated move since the U.S. invaded Normandy Beach....build up all the drama and then emerge as the hero who stayed behind to rescue his hometown. Wouldn't be surprised if ESPN was in on this the whole time.

See he just wanted the experience of the high school kid that selects hsi school on signing day. I wonder if he has the hats of the Cavs, Bulls, Nets, Knicks and Heat (Clippers don't get a hat) and reaches for one and pretends to put it on before putting it down and picking up the real team. Wouldn't be suprised to see D-Wade and Bosh as call in guests who announce their decision afterwards or as the undercard in the first half hour while Bron waits until the last 15 minutes to come to the podium.

Hell why not go all out with this show and call who he's going to sign with to fly out to a neutral location or to his house and he can just sign the damn contract on air.
