They claimed the shoe thing wasn't true.

That "free agent tour" is no different than what every free agent does.

He is a attention whore so it wouldn't really shock me if he made it into a spectacle, but visiting every team that you are interested in is just part of free agency.

WWW has not and will not been involved in LBJ's free agency. He hasn't even talked to him about it.

LMAO @ all the "WWW/Chicago" rumors over the last month. Pure BS.

People put info out there so they could keep the media off balance.

Not confirming that it's true or not but here are two things in the James free agency adventure that I would put money on that's going to happen:
        1) He's either going to sign with Cleveland or Chicago. He's not going anywhere else. I would be shocked if he ends up anywhere else besides those two places.
        2) World Wide West will be a factor. Whatever he's saying is just to throw people off. Now whether he's steering Lebron to Chicago is another thing. That I'm not sure of.

Wes will not be a factor. Even with all of his problems with greasy people, LeBron is the only one who makes up LeBron's mind.

But I'd agree with #1. I don't see him going anywhere other than CLE or CHI.

I think most likely he stays in Cleveland. But I think the Clippers are making more and more sense to me.

Not unless Sterling grows a brain or sells the team.

Anyone who would willingly sign with him is either stupid or ignorant.

The Clippers? If LeBron is true to his word that all he wants to do is win a championship, then the Clippers isn't where he's going to land. Sorry, they'll need more than LeBron to even contend for a title.

Now if he's looking to get his acting career going then yeah, the Clippers would be a good fit. BUT basketball wise, it makes no sense.

Don't know if you've looked at their roster lately but if you add LBJ and a healthy Griffin, the Clippers are in contention next year. Now they have other issues with management, possibly coaching, etc. that may keep them from ever getting over the hump, but that team + LBJ has talent.

The Clippers have better pieces in place than the Bulls do.

Ownership and coaching are huge factors though.

It would be a very risky move to go to a team with the worst owner and then probably not a high level coach.

Chicago hasn't exactly been a shining star of ownership/management over the last dozen years. And I hope we aren't considering Thibbs a high end head coach right now.

But really now, you can't compare Sterling [one of the worst if not the worst owner] and a non-named coach to what Chicago has in decent ownership and a mastermind defensive coach who has a proven resume longer and greater than Mike Brown's.

How in the world is Thibs resume longer and greater than Mike Brown's?

Brown was not a good coach, but his resume is pretty GD amazing. Not to mention he has been a HC in the NBA.

That aspect is obviously better than the Clips but it's also not a huge selling point either. It's better than LA, but not great.
