    Where's the greater talent?

Anyhow, if someone were to ask me what I honestly think is going to happen? I'd say LeBron is going to Chicago or New York, with one of Chris Bosh or Aamare Stoudemire. If LeBron decides to stay in Cleveland, Chris will go to LA or OKC, and Amare will land in Miami.

If LeBron stays in Cleveland, I honestly don't see him winning a ring.

I think I read somewhere that Chris ruled out OKC, though if he wants a championship, that should be his NUMBER ONE destination. They have more talent than any dream scenario any of the teams could conjure up. Same thing for Amar'e. He should go to OKC yesterday. I'd also throw Houston into that group. Houston and OKC should be the two most talked about teams for the bigs.

If I'm LeBron i do this:

Talk to Amare or Bosh, get them to go to chicago with me. Have Chicago sign Ray Allen or Anthony Morrow/RogerMason/Q-Rich/ and collect them rings

        Rose/Allen(Morrow)/LeBron/Bosh(Amare)/Noah

Hinrich/Deng/Gibson off the bench if they haven't been used in a S&T
and a vet big for the Mid Level

they can sign two max free agents right?

sign Lebron for max... sign and trade Luol or Hinrich for Bosh or Amare at below max...

1/2 MLE to Morrow or Ray Allen
sign a cheap big to a vet contract.

is it that far out of this stratosphere?

They can't sign 2 max free agents. If Bosh or Amare do a sign and trade it is to make more money, not less than max. And if you are under the cap you don't have a MLE.

Yes but his image throughout the world is a little more important to him than North East Ohio. And the world is not going to hate him for leaving Cleveland.

My bad then on the bulls i thought they could sign two.

But SOMEONE is going to be taking less than max...or else they're back to square one.

If they work out a sign and trade somewhere, they don't have to take less then max.

Bosh is looking at that option now.

What I'm saying is...if LeBron wants to play with Bosh and vice versa...one of them is going to be taking less than max, if they plan on being on a complete team capable of winning it all.

You clearly do not understand LeBron then.

North East Ohio, especially Akron, is very important to him. If this wasn't his hometown, I'd be pretty confident that he would be gone.

Not necessarily true. For instance, if they went to Jersey, I think the Nets have the roleplayers in place to pretty much fill out a roster. Only a little finagling is necessary to take that team over the line if they made the moves to sign two people. That having been said, I think the Knicks are the only team that can sign two people to a max contract out right. They have some roleplayers and tradeable assets to fill out the roster more than people are giving them credit for. You only need 7 players really, especially if you have a high quality best four players.

Chicago's hopes rest on moving Deng and Hinrich. Deng I don't know about, but I think there are some teams that will benefit from Hinrich. Namely the Lakers. I think that dude can make them unbeatable. Just don't know what they have to offer.

I always liked and said LeBron would be going to NJ..

                              Harris/CDR(Lee)/LeBron/Bosh/Lopez is pretty formidable

I was thinking Chicago because of all the hype but NJ makes sense too...Why he would stay in Cle? Lord knows.

                                See below.

The Bulls have lost in the first round of the playoffs because they don't have the firepower to get past the elite teams, not because the guys who are supposed to be playmakers and stars of their team have decided to start summer break early is my point.

If I'm LeBron and I've given Cleveland a try and all we can do is dominate the regular season and then have everyone but me go fishing at the end of April, why would I go somewhere that I have no idea whether the guys that are there are going to do the same thing or not and pass up on a place that I've seen first hand that the guys are gonna fight their balls off til the very end whether they have a realistic chance of winning or not? I'm not trying to knock NY, NJ or even Cleveland, but I'm trying to show why Chicago isn't some ridiculous choice and makes no sense as I've seen it described here a time or two.
Just because a guy is a 20 and 10 guy in the regular season doesn't mean he'll be one in the playoffs which is why LeBron would leave Cleveland in the first place. If you're gonna leave a situation where you can win 50-60 games a year, you leave it for a situation that's potentially better, not the same thing or worse. If LeBron has made up his mind that he can't win with the guys in Cleveland, then it's friggin ******** to go to NJ or NY where he has no idea if the guys will be able to step up and play when they get to the playoffs, whereas those guys who haven't won a playoff series (keep in mind they should/could have beaten Boston last year) have shown that they aren't going to shrink or give up when there's extra decorations on the court. I'm not saying it's a lock for the Bulls to do anything with LeBron, but acting like choosing the Bulls is the same as deciding to eat a bowl of dog crap over a steak is pretty friggin ridiculous.

The Bulls can't outright sign LeBron and Bosh, but they could acquire both. One signed straight up and the other in a sign and trade that would require including either Hinrich or Deng in a deal. Doing the S&T would save the money that would need to be spent to sign the other free agent.
