lebron is going to end up being steve nash. no one wants to play in that city, minus it being a trade or the lottery. bosh turned down crazy money to play in miami. amare could have gotten probably the same deal in cleveland but he too said no way to playing in cleveland, not lebron. lebron should consider ny or accept a short term contract. cavs are not the team to beat in the east next season. boston, orlando and depending on what the heat add (brandon haywood and someone such as prince) could all be better than the cavs. i see more pressure on prince james having to carry the load with an average team.

Windhorst was just on Mike and Mike and he was saying that even his agent doesn't know about what will happen at the ESPN thing tomorrow. He said that LeBron is only doing all of this with a few friends and nobody knows. He also said that Chicago is very much in the picture. He said the ESPN thing is a lose/lose thing for him no matter if he stays or goes. Man this is insane.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
Knicks chances improved after the Amare signing. They're the only team in the mix that can say they have one of the big FA's signed for Lebron to team with.
And maybe Lebron rejects Bosh, like Bosh rejected him and Cleveland. Bosh probably ends up with Wade. So Lebron joins Amare in NY.Comment

This is actually what they were saying this morning on Mike and Mike. That Bosh got word that there was no way that LeBron was going to leave Cleveland, so he opted to settle with Wade in Miami. Who knows at this point, we all just have to wait until tomorrow night...Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Golic and Windhorst brought up the "if he leaves Cleveland on national TV he'll be a villain". So far the only people I've seen bring that up are people from Ohio."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

ehh, i don't see how cavs supporters can blame lebron leaving cleveland now. no one wants to play in that city. he can't win it all with no help. anderson varejao cannot be the second best player on his team. he needs another superstar. he cannot give away seasons and believe the nba landscape is going to be same in two seasons.Comment

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
So, he thinks.
I don't really care what he thinks, he's not bigger than the league!
He needs to think of the past and future, not himself. Let's have a little respect for the game of basketball and the league that he plays under.
Would Jordan, Bird and Magic pull this stunt?
Heck, while we are at it, let's throw a parade in the city he chooses and call it King James Day. Maybe we can have a national holiday once a year for King James.
I cannot really say what guys like Bird, Magic and Jordan would do. But superstars back then were as 'self-centered' as they are now. They may have done it in a different way BUT players back then were media whores. Bird not so much because he hated the media BUT Magic would throw his face in front of a camera the second he got the chance. HE EVEN DOES IT NOW!
This is not nothing new. it's just different.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm XComment

They could've gotten Trevor Ariza last summer (a huge upgrade over Anthony Parker) if LeBron had committed to the Cavs. There's also LeBron's mail-it-in performance in Game 5 of the Celtics series.
There's plenty of blame to go around if he leaves (especially on former GM Jim Paxson), but LeBron definitely does not escape it.Comment
