Can't LeBron just play out his contract? As well as most of the other players on that free agent list?

      LBJ can
      Bosh can
      Wade can
      Amare can

      Boozer can't
      JJ can't

All the guys that can, probably won't with the CBA around the corner.

Also Pierce and Dirk can be free agents if they want as well.

I just don't see him agreeing to a S & T if Noah is involved. Even if LBJ is already here. You're left with Bosh - Gibson - LBJ - Hinrich - Rose. That front line will get murdered and no way Bosh wants to play the 5 either.
But a front line of Noah, Gibson and LBJ provides a little more defense but virtually no offense outside of what Rose and LBJ would create for them. It's not a championship caliber lineup without Bosh in the mix. You need some form of interior scoring if you want to win a title, but you also need interior defense as well like you imply. I don't think the Bulls can get both. Bosh is the better player than Noah so you take him and worry about the rest after the fact. I agree that Bosh wants to play with a true 5, but if he turns down the chance to play with Rose and LBJ then the man is crazy.

Noah's a good player, great rebounder, but it's not like he's a lockdown post defender. Some people are making him out to be Ben Wallace all of a sudden.

Bosh does worry me, I don't think winning is all that important to him and I do agree that he wants a center to do the dirty work for him. He just wants out of Toronto and to go to a team that can compete but I don't think being a title favorite is that important to Bosh. Him going to Houston (with Houston giving up Hill, etc) doesn't make the Rockets a contender either. Bosh isn't even a Tier 1 star, he's not taking the Rockets from a .500 team to a championship favorite by himself.

If Bosh tells B.C. he wants to go to Chicago and B.C. asks for Noah, I'd be shocked if Forman/Paxson make that deal.

ehh, from what Bosh has said, to me it sounds like winning is the ultimate goal for him now. In his end of season presser he basically said that he's made a lot of money in the league and that now it's all about winning for him. Pointing to the fact that he's only made the playoffs twice in his 7 year acareer. He's pretty sick of losing and it showed all year.

I'm not arguing that Rose, Bosh and LBJ wouldn't be a lot better than Rose, Noah and LBJ. Thing is the Bulls would be left very thin of bigs and I see Noah a important piece to the puzzle. Yes he is no Ben Wallace on locking up a man but he has improved every year in all categories and I believe next year will be the same. His Playoff stats were solid and he finished with a 14-13 average.

Bulls have room for only one max player and to bring another it would have to be a S&T. This means someone taking on the bad contracts of Hinrich or Deng. I know there is a lot of hate on Deng but he's a 18/10 guy. Problem is that terrible contract. Perhaps in some 3 way or something he gets moved. You can never say never in this league. The Bulls can also find some way to trade these players in a separate deal to create that room for that 2nd max agent.

Why? The Celtics gave up way more in Al Jefferson to get KG. The roster situation was obviously different (Perkins was in Boston) to compliment KG.

I guess Chicago feels they're a contender with Rose, Hinrich, LBJ, Gibson and Noah. I don't buy it for a second but who knows, I could be wrong.

Who's making him out to be Ben Wallace? I think all that's really being talked about as far as Noah is the potential he has to be more than a 10/11 guy as you pegged him (rightfully so as that was his statline this year) but again he only played in 64 games this season and was only healthy enough to start in 54 of them. He's gotten better every year in every category as Alt pointed out, it's not like people are going Luol Deng and overvaluing his worth to the franchise in the future.

Could but I doubt he doesn't come back to Boston. If anything I'd imagine Chicago would actively pursue him. They wanted to find a way to acquire him during the trading deadline.

Ehh the Bulls are going to add atleast 1-2 pieces other the LBJ.

Most likely scenario is if the Bulls do land Lebron it will happen in a sign and trade with Cleveland.

Where Deng and Kirk maybe Taj or James Johnson head to cleveland - freeing up another move for the Bulls.

Cle can't let LBJ walk and get nothing for him.

Still don't know how I feel about that. If you're trying to just go out and make a run for a title in one year's time, then that could be a fine acquisition. Long term solution to that 2 spot though...nuh uh.

Long term no, short term yes. If you have a Rose/LBJ or Rose/Bosh, Allen is out on the perimeter open a lot of the time.

Cleveland will never take Hinrich and Deng. I'm pretty sure they won't even take one of them let alone two.

This is where I think you're wrong. Cleveland can let him walk. Especially when dealing with the Bulls where they would be taking on long term contracts.
