ehh, you need to drive down to Curry's place and lead a trail of donut crumbs as far as possible away from LBJ.

I'd put NY below Miami for most flexability in on-court and future progression. It's just too bad I can't see LBJ and Wade working together.

So wait the Knicks' potential is greater than anyone else?!?

Are you serious?? You know what, don't answer that.

          LOL, true.

It's weird that LBJ would talk to Eddy about this. The article said that it may have been nothing more than they both share the same agent. I dunno. LBJ also played for D'Antoni in the Olympics so I don't think he'd be influenced by what Eddy's thoughts are on Mike since LBJ has first-hand experience of playing for him.

I don't see LBJ calling Jerome James to ask him for advice about the Bulls.

          What gives?

EDIT: Apparently the two have worked out in the summer in the past. I guess it's just getting more pub cause LBJ is a FA now.

Of course, but it's just "could be" so I guess there's no point in posting it.

Fortunately the Bulls already waived Jerome James.

LBJ with Curry seems odd but what I find even more hard to believe is Curry actually working out in the summer. Maybe LBJ just uses Curry as motivation to continue to work harder. lol

LOL. I guess if you need a boost after a rough exit from the postseason nothing will make you feel better about yourself than being in the same gym as Curry.

Chicago easily has the most flexibility because they have cheap rookies and will have massive expiring contracts the next few years.

The Knicks have flexibility now, but after this year they'll be locked into what they sign.

Chicago can get Bron and I'm guessing another 8-10 million dollar player. Then they can trade Heinrich after this year and have 3 very good young players who if they wanted to could trade for major pieces. Obviously those young players are the primary lure for getting Lebron there, but if for whatever reason he doesn't work with Rose or Noah they would fetch quite a bit.

No doubt New York is clearly in the running for the guy, but if the goal of leaving Cleveland is to win a championship then New York is not a WISE place to go try to do it. The way things are it's basically looking at New York with a glass half full outlook. 'Yeah we don't have jack on the court for you right now, but it's because we made sure we have money to put something on the floor later.' It's like a used car salesmen or a real estate agent selling someone on that piece of crap house with the old 'fixer upper' line. There's too many variables beyond New York's control for New York to seriously be considered an ideal spot to go. They have cap space, but so do other teams along with actual talent in place to sell you on instead of the idea that your money is going to land you talent later.

The question is, if LeBron and a JJ or a Bosh or Boozer a second round playoff team at least next season? Or if they get burned by the big guys a LeBron and David Lee Knicks team.

LOL. Dude, who's side are you on. Work with me man.

BTW, if people wanted to know why he reached out to Eddy, they share the same agent.

This is the kinda stuff that cracks me up. It's okay if LBJ goes to the Bulls and has to wait a 2-3 years for his team to improve yet it's one of the biggest detractors of him going to the Knicks.

He's probably not waiting 2-3 years for the Bulls though, the Bulls are a 40+ win playoff team without LeBron or Bosh and without jumpshooters (see this year), the Knicks aren't even Atlantic Division title contenders without him.

                              That wasn't really my point.

My point was that if he goes to the Bulls and for some reason they don't win the Bulls can trade Heinrich's contract or Rose, Noah, or Gibson for legit players. If they do win, they can pull a Lakers-like move and extend the winning by trading Deng's contract.

Obviously the expectations would be for him to win now. He'd be going to a 41 win team with another good signing. The Knicks are a 29 win team possibly minus their best player (though they would be replacing him with an upgrade I would assume).
