Don't get what's so funny or what's so bad about the Saints reference. Again, I clarified what I meant. Like I said I'm out, too many people trying to be jokesters and just looking to argue.
You shouldn't have brought up markets if that's not what you were talking about. Whether people went to the games or not is irrelevant.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

OK but that was before he started losing. It's easy to want to be viewed as the man when your winning titles. Losing humbles people.

I didn't, I was responding to someone saying no one wanted to PLAY for Cleveland because it was a small market. Well I didn't see tons on NBA players flocking to PLAY for Chicago before Mike got there even though it is such a "big market". I personally felt with a few small moves that the Cavs could have been right in contention for a title for a few years at least. That was my point, cats just decided to make more of it than what it was even after I explained myself.

Completely disagree. He is being his own man. Look how much negative pub he's getting for this move. The "follower" thing would have been to stay so people can love him.

It always seems to go in circles. After Jordan, Iverson, then Kobe until he became public enemy #1, they anointed LBJ as the new face of the league until this year, now KD will be the new NBA saviour for the public.

Yeah, in 3 years Kevin Durant will either have won and be hated or not have won and be labeled a loser.

Being a big market had everything to do with why people wanted to play for Chicago. Once they got a great player they could go to a succesful team in a big market, Cleveland had a great player and had success but players still didn't want to play in that city.

That is classic. Wish they could've had some footage of MJ after he got cut in HS dribbling chairs and all to get better. I'm gonna quit on this, as it is really a big letdown. I'd like to say I've really liked your take on this, but still don't think that LBJ should've ditched the team for himself. I'll always feel that he quit on the team that made him relevant. Sure, he had the natural talent. Extrordinary talent. But the Cavs were as much a part of the legend as he was alone. He could've been a Michael, now he's just a mercenary. I never thought the new Celtics model was good for the league, and this just reinforces my belief. Go Cavs, good or bad. I just hate that FSN down here will probably show them a lot less and show Blue Jackets instead.....
