I don't think Lebron said anything wrong. People get way too bent out of shape over nothing.
He was just saying how cool it would be if all teams had more talent. Probably because he's seeing how easy it is for his team to destroy the other teams. lol

It would actually be cool if he spoke on the things he DOES know and not on things he DOESN'T know.

Little bit of reality for ya:

Not everything written about Athletes is ALWAYS going to be about Sports or something done ON the field/court. It no longer works this way and hasn't worked for the last 16 years and you have OJ to thank for that.

              the media constantly scrutinizes LeBron

do you really think he cares?
he's been in the NBA several years and his skin is very thick now

he is going to do and say and BE what he wants

remember the Nike commercial he did:

He shouldn't and he should and that's obvious at this point.

Well I'm glad at least one person who is probably in the know agrees with me.. from the Daily Dime today:

man, just think of all of the possibilities if the Cavs would have just given up Hickson last year and got Stoudemire...

7:31 John Krolik (Cavs: The Blog/TrueHoop Network): Pretty sure they offered that trade and the Suns said no.

The guy who said he was taking mental notes during the offseason of all the people who bashed him, posted twitter messages of people bashing him to try to get sympathy, now has thick skin?

I actually don't have a problem w/ Bron's comments, he was just speaking his mind, but he's not the most thick skinned of guys either.

So the Cavs won one whole game in December

And to be honest, they could repeat this feat in January

Yeah, that's what happens when you lose the player the whole team was built around.

Not to mention the entire center rotation and the sixth man.

Maybe. I mean Big Z and Shaq did very little for Cleveland last year.. especially Big Z in the playoffs.. but sure they miss them too.

I had a lot of OS telling me this was still a playoff team when I predicted Cleveland and Toronto would be the worst teams of the East.

I was told that LeBron had enough talent around him that they could survive without a replacement for him.

I was told that Mo Williams was a better scorer than Russell Westbrook. I was told a lot of things about this Cleveland/LeBron situation that I look back on and laugh. Especially the Amare [LeBron didn't want him] debacle.

Who told you that? *prays to God that it isn't me.*

Anyway, meh, I thought they'd be better, at least contending for the 8th spot. I also had no idea that the team had no fight whatsoever in them...thought they would show more heart and hustle.

People have this notion that the 80s was some kind of basketball utopia where every fan around the league enjoyed the Lakers & Celtics grabbing 8 out of the 10 titles.

The 80s sucked for all teams not named LA, Boston, Houston, Philly & Detroit.
