With Jordan a close number two.

Jordan was just better at free throws. Lebron pretty much has Jordan beat every where else. Not to mention that LeBron was taken #1 in the draft. Jordan was drafted #3 after Sam freaking Bowie.

That should tell you enough right there.

          Does it hurt? No.

I just wish there was a LeBron James thread here since everyone loves to talk about him so much.

Better question would be where would Kevin Durant rank all time when it's all said and done.

            But that's just me...

He'll end up being considered a top 10 guy, barring injury and assuming he wins 3+ titles. He won't ever be top 5, IMO, because he had to join up with a player as good or better than him and he admitted it himself. Like the guy above me said about KD, I think the OKC-Miami era is upon us and I'd be willing to wager that those 2 teams will win 6-8 of the next 10 titles. If KD can get 3-4 and keep winning scoring titles, at his age, he could be a top 5 guy IMO.

Maybe a less explosive David Thompson but with better shooting stroke.

I don't like to compare players across positions so I'll just rank him among all time small forwards that I've seen.

                    1. Larry Bird
                    2. John Havlicek
                    3. Scottie Pippen
                    4. Julius Erving
                    5. Rick Barry
                    6. Lebron James

Eh....I'd put Lebron over Barry personally. Otherwise I agree with this listing.

So Lebron is one of those players that has to do it alone just to crack top 5?

^^ I know that's pretty crazy ^^ Even though most of those guys up there had a lot of help lol
Why don't people understand you don't win rings by yourself? Jordan messed a lot of people up lol.

Sadly a lot of younger people don't seem to remember that Jordan himself needed help too. Before '91 people said Jordan couldn't win the big games and he needed other players to help him.
