I don't get how that thing works. I see that Lebron is beasting with the 20+ games but why the from to thing is like 4 years for some, 9 for others, 7 for others etc?

Re: The LeBron James Thread
That list is for players at age 28, so LeBron would have an advantage over players who came into the league older, but not players that came straight from HS."To the last minute, to the last second, to the last man, we fight"Comment

Stats like this? We have Wilt's PPG? It should be easy to go back and talley his or anybody else's 20+ games by the age of 28.. You can't have a PPG without all the game totals from each season? Right?Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Someone would have to look at every box score and keep their own tally, and I just looked and from age 23-28 Wilt averaged 40.6 PPG in 464 games, so even if he scored 20+ in every game he played, he still wouldn't be first"To the last minute, to the last second, to the last man, we fight"Comment

Not easy at all, for all games before 1985, there isn't a database available for easy searching like that list, they do have scans of every box score though.

I looked from Kareem's rookie season up until the season before he turned 28, and LeBron rookie season up until last season and the totals are 14,211 and 19,045.. I think LeBron has a legit shot at the all time scoring champ.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
That's not even accounting for the ~400 points he gets in the Playoffs, which again, if he makes the Playoffs every year thats another ~4000 points less he has to get in the regular season"To the last minute, to the last second, to the last man, we fight"Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
LeBron also came in 3-4 years earlier than some of the older gentleman on that list.
Any "earliest" stat is going to be skewed in the younger generation's favor. Just another loaded list to try and overstate LeBron's greatness. Not saying he's not great, but these "fastest to" or "youngest to" stats don't mean anything other than he's a great player who played a lot more games before he was 28.
If Jordan, Malone, Iverson played 200+ more games, I doubt this list would be the same.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Even if you want to discredit "youngest to" and narrow it down to "span of time", it's still impressive...it's not like every player that came in with him, or even 2-3 years before him would make the list...Comment

I do too, if he plays until he's 38, and averages a little under 25, he'll get it, which is entirely possible
