Re: The LeBron James Thread
Lol like I said, this is just something I was told by someone who lives in the area. Not saying I believe him, but I thought it was interesting to speculate about. Figured I'd share with you guys. Personally I think he'll be back in Miami, but if he ends up in Cleveland I wouldn't be surprised at all.Link to my NBA 2K13 2010-2011 Roster:

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I posted this in that Sound Off thread and figured it should probably be here, too.
So, my best friend lives right outside of Cleveland/Akron with his brother. His bro told me that some news leaked around the area about LeBron's kids being re-enlisted in the Akron school system. And also, apparently LeBron's mother bought season tickets to Cavs games for next season. Legit info? Can't be too sure. I would think it'd be all over ESPN by now. But I don't know. That's just what he told me a few minutes ago so maybe it hasn't really gone viral yet.
The Clippers wouldn’t mind trading DeAndre Jordan, Jamal Crawford and either Barnes or Dudley to the Heat for James, but the team knows that would most likely be hard to do.
One official said James really liked Rivers and was good friends with Clippers point guard Chris Paul.
Another official said James’ wife, Savannah, really loved Los Angeles, and that her preference would be for her husband to play for the Clippers rather than the Lakers if he decided to leave.
James, who had two years and about $42.7 million left on his contract before exercising his early termination option, can get a maximum five-year deal worth $127.7 million from the Heat.
“The Miami Heat does not think he’s leaving,” one official said. “Miami thinks it’s a ploy by James to make the team better.”
The Clippers also haven’t ruled out making a run at Carmelo Anthony, who opted out of his contract with the New York Knicks and will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, the officials said.
Another NBA official said that Steve Ballmer, who has agreed to pay $2 billion to buy the Clippers from Donald and Shelly Sterling in a deal that isn’t official yet, would be willing to “pay the luxury tax” if he was able to acquire James or Anthony.
But in the end, the Clippers expect James to return to the Heat.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I think the best for LeBron would be go back to Cleveland.Imagine their team:
Backcourt would be obvious. Kyrie at the one and Waiters at the two. Either Parker or Wiggins (depending who they draft) would start at three. LeBron starting at the four. Andreson Varejao starting at the five. Great bench. Tristan Thompson could slide to three different positions, but he prefers the four. Tyler Zeller could come to the five. Do not resign Luol Deng and Spencer Hawes. Nobody knows, how much will Anthony Bennett progress at summer.Comment

Apparently Broussard has an article saying Houston could dump Asik/Lin on some poor team, let Parsons go, sign LeBron, and then trade Harden in a sign and trade for Melo...NFL: Bills
