LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh still haven't had sit-down to discuss future together, league sources tell Yahoo. Coming soon.

I have no idea how they would know this seeing as though league sources have absolutely not way to know what they did together all year.

Still managed to sell out arenas around the country anytime Washington was in town. Without Jordan no one gives a **** about Washington. Same as Miami without James.

Yeah, I have a feeling those three discussed things a lot before all this happened. I dunno how "league sources" would even know this. This is one instance where I want to know WHO these sources are.

Seriously though, I've always wondered. Why did people freak out so much about Dan Gilbert? I just re-read that letter again and I didn't see any N-bombs getting dropped or anything, but you'd think that's exactly what happened with the way people act like Gilbert just did the most horrible act imaginable to LeBron.

I'm guilty of rehashing the never ending debate, but my motivation is strictly on whether it should be considered "acceptable" (for lack of a better word) for James to jump ship. So you're right, and I would add that the negative heat for the Decision wouldn't have existed if Lebron simply said he wanted to leave bc he didn't believe in management's ability to build around him properly, or select the proper coach for him. I think that is legit. I defend that Cavs team bc I think they were close enough that the necessary moves to get them over the hump weren't out of reach... whether or not I believe they would've been made is a different story.

So fast forward to today and there should be 100% faith in Riley and, at this point, confidence in Spo. James taking a pay cut makes it easier to get the necessary pieces and he's shown he's willing to do that. So I think him leaving Miami would look worse than when he left Cleveland. And the defense of "the team just isn't good enough" holds little weight to me. We know what the teams WERE, but we don't know what next year looks like. There's a difference between putting yourself in a good situation and ring chasing. I don't respect ring chasers unless their getting close to the end of their career and can no longer be the #1 option for a team. That's just me.

So you'd be cool with winning a NBA title and all the financial benefits that come with it for a guy who called you a narcissist and a coward?

Why do you people have this obsession with how I'd react to something? Unless I give the answer you want to hear you wouldn't buy it anyway and how I'd react is irrelevant. Where I grew up, I'd be waiting to hear an actual insult if a guy called me a narcissist or a coward.

What I find funny is how most people who have forgiven and forgotten "the decision" won't give Dan Gilbert the same courtesy.

Being that this is Woj, im surprised he even made this statement to be honest, but then again I hardly believe anything anyone says this early in the offseason.

Everybody has opted out for the most part except a couple of guys who know they'll never get this kind of money again ala rudy gay, amare.....

I think here people are eyeing Wade and Bosh

Gilbert needs to worry about what players think more than us.

To take those kinds of parting shots at LeBron despite how he held that franchise up raised eyebrows around the league and one reason why players don't even give a crap to go there.

I really don't want to get into a debate about that ordeal as I'm tired of that discussion, I shouldn't have brought it up lol

I don't think Gilbert said anything that offensive in terms of Lebron but he did say some stupid and classic things. I think Lebron wasn't hurt that much by what Gilbert said I mean in context that's the response you're gonna get when you do something like the decision

I'm guessing you are referring to others bringing up how you would react to situations in the past? If so, yeah, I guess the argument is silly. It's easy for us to say what we would do if we were in his shoes.

Wasn't it fresh off the reports that were coming out(at the time obviously)about how they planned the move even while he was in Cleveland and that he felt he deserved the courtesy of finding out from Lebron and his reps himself instead of the TV show or something to that extent?

On another note, this thread has now come full circle for the 8th time since we're basically back to discussing the Decision again, lol.
