But to say that nobody killed him for those comments he made is simply not true and you know this.
I was talking about now. Not when it happened. Thats my point. People are talking about the Decision being disrespectful consistently and to this day but no one brings up that press conference today.

Where? I just ran a quick search in this thread using keywords and havent picked up a post referencing that press conference since early 2012.

He was saying The Decision. He's sick of people talking about it, I feel like he's been saying that since about a week after it happened haha

The word is LeBron felt "betrayed" by the criticism he got after the Boston series which helped make him decide to actually go through with the Miami plan. Dude was mad about the whole "quitting thing" and the criticism after the whole "I spoil people with my play" press conference.

LeBron has said he could have handled things better. It's not about "letting down the fans." He knows what he did was wrong.

I still think he's talking about letting down fans, I don't know why he would give a **** how Dan Gilbert felt

Nobody would even still be talking about the Decision right now if people weren't bringing up him not playing for the Cavs ever again because of Dan Gilbert. The Decision and it being disrespectful is being brought up specifically because of the Dan Gilbert angle.

Maybe "forgave" was the wrong word.... Here's something referencing that he isn't mad at Gilbert anymore.

James has apologized several times for departing Cleveland via television special—in 2012, he told Sports Illustrated that in the wake of the Decision, he “had to become a better person”—and has said that he’s no longer mad at Gilbert.

I can't find the specific SI article from 2012 and have spend too much of my company's time to continue searching for it.

All good. I just want to discuss more important things like LeBron holding a wine and gold colored pack of gum signifying his return...
