West just got wilder...so I guess LeBron goal is to hush the chatter that he is "just" King of the East.Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"

Re: The LeBron James Thread
The four-year deal lines up perfectly with his eldest son entering the NBA, right? He's talked about how it's a big goal of his to play on the same team as Bronny.
I'm sure I'm reading too much into it (that's what the NBA offseason is for, after all) but this move seems like it's about more than basketball. He's starting to prepare for his post-career life as many guessed. Get to have Bronny play his entire HS career in LA and then a 38/39 year old LeBron can sign with whatever team drafts him and he can finish out his career playing alongside his son, then live out his days in the LA sunshine.
LAL isn't getting Kawhi this summer so I guess LeBron is okay with an early exit next Spring and will see how the team improves from there. I can't imagine Boogie accepting a short-term deal this summer like LAL has supposedly offered him."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I don't see how he's going to do that. I don't blame him for wanting to play in Los Angeles, but I can't see him getting another ring now, even if they trade for Kawhi.ATLANTA BRAVES

I'm curious to see how Pop & Buford play this game. I don't think they're gonna give him the satisfaction this year, or at least until the trade deadline."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Lebron just bought himself a free ticket to being swept in the WCF.

I hope Golden State obliterates them in the first round. Even better, I hope the Rockets or some other team does it before they have a chance to get them just for extra LOLs

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Just means they’ll get less of a return for him. Are they really stubborn enough to hurt their chance at getting better? LeBron is locked in for 3 years, if they don’t get Kawhi now they’ll just wait.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I don't think they make the finals but I doubt he signed with the Lakers without having some type of info that they'll sign another big gun. But like others have said, this seems like more of a life after basketball move than a winning move.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Although it may be one of his goals, I also doubt he gets it done this year. I just think it may be a part of his mindset to show the world that he can get to the Finals in the stronger conference. A lot of haters say he only got all those Finals appearances just because the East is so weak.Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"
