At this point I'd take Lee because of the lesser risk.
    Perhaps you would.

    Would Brian Colangello?

And instead of looking at this in a vacuum, would you take Bosh for Lee or Bosh and Hedo/Calderon/Jack for Lee, Andy, and Mo? Because if you do S&T for S&T, it cannot be more than player for player.

Agreed. I'm hoping some form of the rumored Curry for Okafor happens.

And not one person has ever said that Lee is a reason the Knicks will be amazing with Lebron and Bosh. The only possible chance of Lee being a Knick next year is if they completely strike out in free agency. There is no room for him if they sign 2 max's.
Amazing. I'm pretty certain myself or someone else pulling for the Bulls in this thing talked about the Bulls not having to move Noah in a S&T to get Bosh if Chicago was where he wanted to go for that very reason and was met with a chorus of "no way Toronto goes for that without Noah" and other similiar arguments. Now they're pushovers since it's the Knicks he'll be demanding to go to?

Anyway there's still nothing in New York that says he'll want to go there other than they're cap space which means nothing really because he's going to make the most money doing a S&T.

I honestly don't think LeBron is going to be the first to sign though. I think he's going to drag things out and see what the other guys do first. We probably won't have an answer to the LeBron question until about two or three weeks into free agency and someone is bound to sign their deal on the first day. I just can't see an NBA free agency period that doesn't have a first or second day signing.

You couldn't be more wrong about this entire post. HAHA. Wow. Ya'll must really hate New York.

Lee is a non issue anyway since he only really becomes a factor if Bosh and another free agent don't decide to go to New York outright. Bosh has gone on record as saying that he'll only S&T if it's in his 'best interests'. Meaning if he believes Bron will follow him to New York, he'll do it straight up.

I really don't hate NY, but I feel that I've probably gotten the rep so I may as well embrace it.

              1. I did not have this discussion with you, so I really don't care.

              2. You don't understand that if Lebron tells the Raptors he's going to New York, he can just sign outright if the Raptors don't want to accommodate him? He can't do that with the bulls, unless you are talking about the Bulls just getting Bosh and not Lebron, and I haven't seen that discussed.

I get that, because Okafor's contract is not good, but he's exactly the type of player we would need next to Bosh, and if we get Lebron and Bosh, we aren't going to be worried about cap space all that much anymore. If we don't make a big splash in free agency, than yea, I wouldn't want to do it.

Bosh and a guy who clogs the lane is a no-no.

Bosh needs basically a player like Bargnani, but you can also rebound and defend like a mad man.

So he needs a soft jump shooting Euro 7 footer who focuses on rebounding and plays great D. Not sure that player exists.

Can you imagine if the Knicks missed out on all of the big free agents and only ended up acquiring Emeka for Curry's contract? I can see the piles of hate mail now....

Wow really taking that World Wide Wes thing to heart I see. I have to think that CP3 is worth a lot more to New Orleans than he would be to any other team in the league, if he leaves they might as well move to Seattle.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

They need to attach the Okafor contract to any deal they make involving Chris Paul.

Or Peja, depending on the length of his deal, which I believe has 2 years left.
