Who cares about who is King or Leader of that team. If they win it will not matter.....You guys are making a simple thing into a big thing...lol This team will not be about ego's. It will be about DEFENSE. They have played with each other on the USA team. If you were talking about 3 players who had never played before...I could kind of understand. But great basketball players always find a way. The best thing is that Wade and LeBron are not self fish with the ball. Again....this team is going to be about DEFENSE.

I think this is exactly what he's doing. Diverting all the attention from where he is really considering. The Heat and Knicks are hot news right now. And the Cavs and Bulls are now longshots.

It's not his legacy, it's his projected legacy. People were trying to shadowbox Kobe's rings with Shaq until he won TWO with a clear second fiddle(plus 3 straight Finals appearances). Mind you, Kobe was drafted into his situation in LA, and averaged more than 30, 6 and 7 in the playoffs as a "Robin" on his team. Opting out of a 60 win team to join two players in their prime who are top 3 and top 10 in the league, one of whom has already won a Finals MVP will take Lebron out of the GOAT conversation. Maybe if they win 6 or more rings it'll be different, but I think no matter what, he will be viewed as much less than what he would have gotten had he been the clear #1 player on his team, or at least only be playing with one other perennial All Star.

          This.

None of the Big 3 had ANY egos when they came together. All 3 of those guys were on losers pretty much their whole career. Which is why it worked so well. They were willing to sacrifice to win.

You have 2 of the Top 3 players in the NBA right now that could potentially be on the same team. And arguably 3 of the Top 5.

Pierce, has never been a top 5 player, arguably Top 10 at times. Allen is a complimentary star, great shooter yes, superstar caliber...no. If anything I would consider Garnett the best out of those 3 when they came together. And this was on the decline of their careers. So 3 really solid players came together that wanted to win a championship at the end of their careers.
This Big Three is obviously better than the Boston Three Party... but the fact that 3 guys, all top 5 at their position, all joined the same team was a big deal, and was good enough to win them a championship their first year together. Those guys wanted a ring badly, now they have one because they joined forces.

Globally and nationally, it will be LeBron's team. He is the face of basketball right now and has been for the past 2 or 3 seasons. The offense will be run through Lebron, he is a 6-8 God of a man who can play every position on the floor. He will put up more highlights than Bosh and Wade, just like he did last year.

Nobody gets the attention LeBron does in basketball, and that is going to translate to him being the biggest star in Miami, regardless of what Wade did for that city a few years back.

So in your mind LeBron is not a scorer? Or is he a facilitator and a scorer? Regardless, his points total will drop playing with two other all stars. His assists may go up but it still won't be too high, he's not going to be running the offense getting the ball as much as he wants like he did with Cleveland. And with the rebounds, you think LeBron will average over 10 a game with Bosh down low as well? My opinion isn't too high of Bosh as a player, but he's not going to concede rebounds to LeBron so he can get a triple double. He won't average more assists or rebounds than he does now, and his points total will probably drop as well.

Are you really believing yourselves when you say LeBron doesn't have an ego?? Be honest with yourselves...The man is having a 1 hour special to announce his decision in the first ten minutes. Smdh.

Lebron's family will be fine no matter where Lebron chooses to play so you can set that rubbish aside. Besides, all is family has ever known is Cleveland so what would affect them more? Leaving all that they know, all their friends, family, etc. behind...or going to some new place where there is no support system? Hmmm?

Yes. The Cavs have been loyal to him. Have brought on talent, and made deals available to them to give him the cast he needs...then Lebron mails it in for Game 5, and this is potentially how he leaves that team/city that laid down the red carpet from him and loves him like he's the second coming of Christ.

This business and entertainment crap is rubbish.

He's going to get a max deal from any team who can provide it.

He isn't going to get more publicity by just being in Miami or Chicago.

He's freaking Lebron James...everyone knows who he is, and he was hosting SNL and doing countless other venues as a Cav.

Which part, ticket sales? The Cavs had the second best home (Bulls) and the second best road (Lakers) to combine for the best total attendance.
