The real question here is, does anyone really think they can win a championship in Miami with three players and a team of minimum contracts?

The last I checked, championships are won by teams - role players and all.

Even the Celtics big three needed Rondo, House, Perkins and Allen to win it all. Jordan may not have needed, but he certainly utilized, guys like Kerr, Paxson and Armstrong.

And God forbid one of the max guys get hurt.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is sour grapes, but it's going to be reality after the lockout. The owners are going to put in a hard cap like the NFL.

Very likely considering Bosh has only played more than 70 games once in his career and Wade's history of injuries.

Which is exactly why I don't buy into the whole "loyalty" argument. Loyalty to what, exactly? I'm not making any character claims for Lebron, as I genuinely don't care for the guy, but loyalty is a two-way street.

Someone made a comparison earlier to a jealous girl...lol...and that's really what it seems like. Begging him to stay and then when it seems like he won't, practically kicking him out the door with insults. He's one of the best and most prominent sports figures in the country. I'm sure he'll find plenty of new sycophants if he leaves.

Knicks supposedly sent Isiah for one last pitch to LeBron.

Despite what people might say, I think it's a good move. Isiah was playing when the Knicks were good even though he ended up destroying them later.

Just listened to Steven A. Smith on Francessa. Miami is a done deal.

What a shame. What a coward. I'm done with the NBA, I really hope there is a lockout soon. These three clowns have made an absolute mockery of the league, and of the process. What a joke. Screw you LeBron, Screw you Stern. Take your league and shove it.

SAS had the nerve to say that if Zeke was still running the Knicks that there woulda been a much better chance that LBJ would have come to the Knicks. I got news for ya SAS, if Zeke was running the Knicks there is no way we woulda had two max deals at the start of this FA period.
