Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread

So wait. We're going to ride Lebron for joining two great players looking for a ring......isn't that what Boston tried to do 2 years ago yet through trades? And before the haters come talking about "He sold out, he gave up". What exactly did the Cavs management do to help him win rings again? Lebron was carrying that team as much as Garnett was carrying Minnesota his prime years.

Also, how is this bad for the NBA? the Lakers and the Spurs are in the finals almost every year for the last 10 years.

    Go get them rings Lebron.

lastly a part of me is hoping Melo joins Amare next year and the Knicks/Heat rivalries are born again.

      Eh, I blame two people.

That buffoon Paxson and Mike Brown.

I love how everyone is declaring Pat Riley is GOD, but forget that these clowns wanted to create a super power.

          Dude, please.

Cleveland pretty much did whatever LeBron wanted in terms of roster moves.

That team was perfect for him. He quit on them in the post-season.

He doesnt owe Ohio jack squat. The Cavs couldnt get 10 people to watch their games prior to him joining them. For the last 7 years the Cavs have skyrocketed in value and ONLY because of Lebron. So ridiculous seeing all the hate on him moving on. We all only have one life to live, so let him live his. He played for 7 years in Clevland and couldnt get it done, so hes moving on. Big deal...

And everyone here is complaining about the ESPN show, but 99% of all of you were glued to the TV set....which shows you cared one way or the other. In the process of his announcment, he made millions for the Boys and Girls club. Lets all hate the guy....

Yall need to get over yourselves.
            Awww. He's so charitable.

Gag unto me with yon white hot spoon.

We tuned in because it was there. We weren't gonna NOT watch. What kind logic is that?

And don't even act like this is typical NBA fare, Boozer didn't call for a special "The Decision", I would've watched that too if he got one. But no.

LeBron's gotta have a special event. But just for PR purposes let's give a couple million to the Boys & Girls Club. That doesn't make him friggin' Mother Teresa.

My beef with LeBron this whole offseason went on LONG before this. This just capped it off when he was going all public about the lil conference of Gent BS to powerbroke the NBA.

That's putting him above the game and no one is above the game. No one.

And then there's the whole Game 5 tank job...

It's more than just leaving Cleveland high and dry. Far more. (I'm not even from Cleveland).

Tonight, LeBron made himself bigger than Bosh, Wade, Cleveland, Miami or the freakin' NBA. He finally proved that he's the "Champion of Me" after all. I'll still watch the NBA, but this hurts it as much as it helps the league.

Then please tell me its a good thing for any legend, or face of a city to leave there teams. I can understand if they are getting bad treatment, look at poor donaven mcnabb over the years....but come on, Lebrons whorshiped. It was a kick in the face. Lebrons still younger then Jordan was, or right there about the same. It wasnt like he was running out of time. He could have taken the easy way late in his carear. I mean, if your gonna sell out, why not just do it in the last years, if you couldnt grab a ring. Really, its not like Lebrons going to have to be what he was in Cleveland. Those other two guys are awesome. Theres no way you can tell me he didnt go for the easy road, and you cant tell me thats a good thing in sports.

Thats like rooting for Ivan Drago and his steriod shot easy road, over rocky balboa and his determination and underdog will power, lol. Im joking here, but you get my point.

The greatest heel turn since the included photo is now complete. Miami is now the most hated team in NBA history outside of the bandwagon jumpers in Miami. Completely pathetic seeing the sight of that Miami bar with those fake fans who probably weren't even attending games this past season jumping up and down cheering for a team that no city should have, but THEY certainly don't deserve.

You don't think LeBron ever had a hand in any of the moves Cleveland made?! You don't think he was in Paxson's and Gilbert's ear telling them who they should go after?

It's not like we've seen an incredible free agency class the last few years. You can't just sign whoever the hell you want every year, it's not the MLB.
