Like I said, I hope he never wins a championship.

Damn the media! That is probably a lie if he did I understand fans to be mad at that but not for signing with the Heat to win championships!"A man who won't die for something is not fit to live."

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
I just want to see how his legacy turns out if Wade always has one more ring than he has, and if he wins all of his rings with Wade. If Kobe was saddled with "you only won with Shaq" before they won two seasons ago...this is going to be even worse on LBJ because this was his decision and no one else's. He wasn't drafted by this team 7 years ago, Wade was and Wade has the ring. If he had stayed in Cleveland or gone to the Knicks with Amar'e, or took Bosh's offer to got the the Nets or even the Bulls, it would be slightly different. But right now it looks like he's biting off of Wade's championship success and has a hand full of his coattails right now.
If the Heat go on to win 3 rings...Wade will have 4 and "The King; The Chosen One" will have 3, all coming along side Wade. If we had to ask the questions about Kobe then he same thing applies here (if it happens.)Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

He said during the presser that the other 5 teams didn't know who he was going to sign with until right then.Comment

I would say disappointed, but I'm not sure because we knew there was a good Chance he wasn't coming. Yeah we waited 2 years for this chance but as soon as more than 3 teams became a possibility, I knew it was gonna be tough.
@ least we didn't strike-out in FA. Got Amare & now with the D-LEE S&T with GSW we definitely got better without really sacrificing much CAP SPACEComment

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
I have no problem calling him selfish. Sure, he took less money. So? Peyton Manning and others have redone contracts to put off money to help their teams win. Did anyone here even watch the show? He didn't think out side of the box to help his team. He talked about the CBA and how that factored. He said this is ultimately a business. Guess I expected a bit more of him than that. Real sports heros in my book are the Elway's, the Jeter's and the Peyton's. They ride it out and win when the time comes. They don't "chase rings." I'm no Kobe fan, but you've gotta give him mad class points for how he got to this latest ring. They sucked a couple of years ago, made some huge rosters moves and gutted it out to win this last one. That's some true champ moves.
At the end of the day, he did what he wanted. He got his little dream team. Hope it works out. But, I stand by what is my biggest heartache of all. The way he ended up not factoring in the future of the Cavs. They sold the farm to build a future with him at the center of it. He bailed, and IMO, in a very self-centered and classless way. There are things he did which on the surface seem very selfless, but the statement he made says it all:" in the end I've gotta do what ultimately makes me happy." That really just males all of his team talk and loyalty stuff just seem hollow. Maybe I'll go tell my wife and kids I'm gonna go be "happy" if I feel like it. It may seem like a stretch, but I really thought that he meant this as a marriage, something really special, not a business transaction..... Silly me. He's just another Pro Athlete.Note to Tiburon Marketing:

I didn't see MJ, Kobe, Magic, Paul Pierce (unfortunately), etc. bolt for another team to win a ring. They were always the center piece that other players wanted to be around to build a team with, for that ultimate prize. In this scenario, D-Wade is that guy. His team, his city, his house and people coming to join him.Comment

I dunno, I don't really think this is your typical situation but hey if Lebron is happy chasing the brass ring with his buddies then so be it. I just feel that it came off extremely poorly and he was selfish to a great measure. Lebron is a great player on the court but I question some of his actions off it.
