We're not even done here. These guys playing for the USA was the worst thing that could have happened it turned out. Carmelo WILL wind up in NY somehow, Paul WILL leave NO. These guys have just completely turned the game of basketball into...I don't even know right now. This just ain't the way it's supposed to go down in this game.

Yeah you didn't say anything about the Cavs because they undermine your point. You bring up other teams without looking at those teams in comparison to what was put around Lebron. Why does the team with most cap space matter? He obviously wanted to play with Wade and Bosh so I don't see the problem with those three playing together.

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE"

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....

There's no problem with them playing together as long as LBJ is comfortable sharing second fiddle with Chris Bosh on D-Wade's team. If he wants to establish his legacy, that's not the way to go about it. Like I said earlier, if Kobe HAD to win a ring without Shaq to establish himself in the same breath as MJ, LBJ HAS to do it without Wade. He's still young so we'll see what happens. But if he just wants to be another name with a ring, he's good. If he wants to be in MJ and Magic's category, he can't do it on the same team as another perennial MVP Candidate who was drafted by the team that LBJ chose to join 7 years into his career and always be one ring behind that guy.

If anyone would be in the MJ discussion at that point it would be Wade.

Yet, the team was built around LeBron's skillset and with his alleged blessing throughout the last seven years. Gilbert and Ferry moved players and built the team that they believed could best succeed with LeBron.

The Spurs had above average talent around Duncan at different points of his career, yet he willed them to both success and failure. He could bolted on San Antonio to play with Grant Hill and Tracy McGrady. Or, maybe even gone to L.A. and built a true dynasty. But, he didn't he let the front-office do their jobs and they added piece to win more titles.

LeBron left Cleveland in the dust and is now the second banana.

They did what they thought would work, it didn't work, and he went to a better situation. What I don't get is why people who claim to have already hated him care so much about his legacy or who is going to be the number 1 guy in Miami. Tim Duncan started his career with a hall of famer and they had a much better team than the Cavs.

Whats the difference between what miami did and what boston did 2 years ago. Funny how 3 days ago all of the so called cavs fans were loving him, now that he made a decision that was His to make he is a villian? CMON Man!!

I refuse to accept that until it happens.

I do not want to see the NBA devolve into what it was decades ago. If that's how it's gonna be they may as well just dump 24 teams and just have the Heat, Lakers, Knicks, Bulls, Celtics, and some random smaller market.

Why even have 30 teams when most of them have no shot at keeping any of the good players the do get? It's like the friggin' MLB.

It makes me sick.

KG and Ray Allen were at the tail end of HOF careers. Not smack dab in the middle of their primes. They gave their teams every chance to get a ring and never got closer than semis.

"King" James's had the BEST RECORD IN THE LEAGUE, couldn't get a ring that year, and bounces.

You're gonna tell me that the situations are exactly the same?
