Didn't Darius Miles say the reason they got rid of him was because all 3 guys were the same players?

Injured too much... and the guy was awful. He came in right when they started changing the rules catering it to players who couldn't shoot a jumpshot. Otherwise he wouldnt have been in the league that long.

I think his attitude - besides that knee injury - was Miles' downfall. He just never seemed to listen to anyone and it didn't help that he really never played on a veteran laden team until it was too late to change. He played on two super young teams in the Clippers and the Cavs.

He had the talent though, it just never blossomed the way it should have.

A surprise to no one, LeBron to be named MVP

MIAMI -- The worst-kept secret among NBA award recipients will be formally revealed Sunday when Miami Heat star LeBron James is named Most Valuable Player for the fourth time, league sources confirmed Friday.

James has been voted MVP for the second straight season and for the fourth time in the past five years. He'll join Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain with at least four MVP awards.

The only suspense remaining is in the final tally and how far James has distanced himself in the voting from other candidates this season that include Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant and Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Heat are scheduling an awards presentation Sunday, and James will also be presented the MVP trophy by NBA commissioner David Stern at AmericanAirlines Arena at the start of their second-round series next week in Miami.

Lol. I don't even hate them or anything. I truely dislike Jr Smith and how Anthony has played recently but other than that I don't dislike the Knicks. I prefer the Celtics but that's about it.

That's true though, been bashing them quite a bit.

You know what would be funny is if LeBron went on to win like 6 more championships how much crow you would eat would be amazing.

LeBron don't stop trolling the universe. I need it.

If LeBron wins another NBA title, and I'm hoping against hope that my Spurs do the unthinkable, then he's cemented himself as a top 6 or 8 all-time great already, IMO. He'll be nipping at the heels of Olujawon, Duncan, Bryant and O'Neal and could likely surpass all of them if they win another (next season). I hate to admit it, but we are witnessing the greatest small forward ever and possibly the greatest hybrid forward (sorry, Timmy please forgive me) in NBA history. He's already better than Barry, Erving, Baylor, Pippen and is likely surpassing Bird in due time.

                              Come at me, brah!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly, shouldn't the standard be 11 championships in 13 seasons since that is what Russell accomplished on the dynasty Celtics? Any arbitrary number of championships doesn't matter since LeBron is accomplishing such profound individual success and he's already got one championship (team accomplishment). Unless something unforeseen happens then he likely have two, three or four more to go with last season's championship. Matching Jordan and Bryant in titles is a fruitless endeavor that LeBron shouldn't worry about, IMO. He'll get his and people will appreciate that he had to work for them (losing twice and hopefully three times in the Finals) and grew as player from those past experiences.

Eh, don't think that trade off is worth it. So we basically trade in the "LeBron will never be better than Kobe or Michael cause he only has one/two/three rings talk for..."LeBron is better than Kobe AND Michael cause he has seven rings" every fifteen minutes.
